Needed some stress relief, so I finished another one today. This is a variant on the Buying Big Girls pic, with a focus on the whipped girl on the wall. Also did a variant with piercings, just because.
Original first, followed by the two new ones.

Here's another, more realistic version. Working from Home with Imagination, or "Wishful Thinking".
Man, I miss the days of having of having a naked woman at my feet. My wife and I don't get to play this much, anymore.

“True, I talk of dreams,
Which are the children of an idle brain,
Begot of nothing but vain fantasy,
Which is as thin of substance as the air,
And more inconstant than the wind . . . "

What a bummer.

Careful, now, Mercutio. I would much prefer to be an Oberon, and live in a dream, than a Romeo, and die in one
...though I often feel more like Bottom. I am a sensitive ass, after all.
Don't really want to be your Hamlet, either. ;)

Ya know, there are some real possibilities, there. Ophelia, Desdemona, Cordelia, Cleopatra, the entire cast of Titus Andronicus...

I would much prefer the lady with the brown braid not be incorporeal, that she might be of better use. ;) :babeando:

Both Julius Caesar and Cleopatra, I should think. ;)

I just want to say that I really like the style and themes of these drawings. Personally, I love it when the slaves look more like ordinary girls than super models. I can appreciate how these drawings show diversity, so they depict some girls having nice bodies while some others looking plain or plump, and such differences will decide their market value and for what purpose they will be used.

Thanks for sharing your artworks and I'll look forward to more :)

Thank you! I personally prefer more 'realistic' women. Variety is the spice of life. When everyone looks like a 'supermodel', it not only seems unrealistic to me, but also seems very monochromatic and, honestly, boring. And besides, I LOVE women, in all shapes, colors, and forms. Beauty comes in a variety of packaging.

My biggest issue is that I am honestly not a great artist, certainly not from memory or imagination. So, I usually use some type of photo model for reference, which I then change up in a variety of ways. Do you have any idea how hard it is find medium plump models in a variety of poses and situations from which to use as reference? Most of my time is spent saying "How the hell is her leg supposed to look if her knee is bent at THAT angle? Let me look through photos until I find a leg at that angle." Pain in the butt, I'm tellin' ya.

A good example of what I'm talking about is this image. The original was a photo by Absonderland, over a dA (I got his permission to use his photos as reference.) He does beautiful photography of bigger girls. So I have used several hidden through my drawings. But I stress over things, and spend hours or days changing things until they look right. Finding images like this are honestly HARD. Not a lot of good full bodied model/photographer combos. What exists is either boring soft porn poses, or un-interesting crotch shots and hardcore porn shop sex. Not a lot to build a story within a picture.

I can't agree more with what you said about the variety :)

I have an idea, by the way, reading your comment. Have you considered using a 3D model from DAZ/Poser/MBLab/MakeHuman for a reference, rather than for rendering like as they are typically used?

Learning all the bells and whistles of such tools, and collecting enough number of texture sets and morphs to make them look diverse enough could be a time consuming task. But what if all you need is a quick reference for how a woman with a certain body type would look in this or that angle?

I think it can quite easily achieved by using such a model, and you can probably add details from real photo references after that to give it more variety.

A good example of what I'm talking about is this image.
I just tried to replicate the photo you posted with Blender (with MBLab) and it took me about 15 minutes. I'm far from being an expert in 3D art, so I think you may be able to create reference scenes much quicker than I can once you get used to it.

It's a thought. I've considered it in the past, and even have a set of plastic artists models (that I'm not really happy with). Problem is, it's just one more 'hobby', out of the dozens that I already have. And I am really NOT a tech savvy kind of guy. The time that I spend learning that should probably be used on finishing leather projects, organizing my workspace, or maybe eventually a little actual longsword practice (which I have been woefully ignoring).
I don't know. It progresses in jumps and starts. We'll see if I ever actually get around to it.

Wow. THAT took 15 minutes? That's definitely the sort of thing that I could use. Maybe I SHOULD look into it (after I catch up with these leather commissions)

That's why I thought it could be useful for your work :) Anyway, there's already a thread about DAZ and I believe there are quite a few members here who know the tool better than I do. But if you choose to go for the Blender route, please don't hesitate to ask anything you need. I'd be more than happy to help if I can make you create those amazing artworks any faster.

Absolutely! I'm checking it out, now. And I thought I was going high tech when I finally got a drawing tablet and went to digital drawings. Maybe I should eventually step out of the Iron Age (though I DO love the Iron Age).
