Gabriella flogged to death

Go to CruxDreams.com
I'd love to see a version of your whipping Marcella with you spreadeagled, your limbs stretched to their very limits, muscles, tendons and sinew visible against taut, shining skin, your belly concaved and ribs clearly outlined.
I'm confused. Who's whipping Marcella? Marcella or Gabriella spread-eagled?

The poor thief @GabriellaSivilla is cut open by the scourge. Bits of skin hang from the raw and bloodied welts that crisscross her back.
The whip wraps around her naked waist and some of the sharp points hit her pubis.
The woman howls as she is torn apart. She cries for mercy.

The soldiers laugh at her pain and helplessness, They make lewd remarks as to what they are going to do to her after the flogging.
"What a whore!"
"Come on, let's see her running well with blood"

As Gabriella weakly clings to the pillar for support, she can only cry out in pain, shame, and despair.

It doesn't get a lot better than this does it?

I still don't know how to properly depict whipmarks. I wish I had @fallenmystic's proficiency with software like SubstancePainter. So I procrastinated and moved a step back in the storyline where Gabriella is dragged to the whipping block Sorry, I noticed too late that I got the colour of the dress wrong.

(Also, I accidentally stumbled into a postwork procedure that made the picture look so colorful and full of light like in the illustrated bible stories of my childhood, or in the Jehova's Witnesses magazines).

Thanks for the compliment, but I'm just a hobbyst in 3D art like you :) And you don't have to use Substance Painter to create whipmarks, although you'll need some sort of software to paint normal / bump map. Fortunately, there are open source tools like Blender or ArmorPaint which support enough features to create believable whipmarks without too much trouble.

All you have to do is to make it look a bit more swollen and shiny than the rest of the skin. A normal or height map will achieve the former effect and a roughness or specular/gloss map can be used for the latter one. It'd be quite trivial to paint a roughness map (or one of its alternatives) in any software but it may be a slightly more tricky to create a normal map.

But for things like whipmarks, you can just create a height map and convert it to a normal map later using other tools (there are many, including Blender itself, GIMP or Photoshop plugins and even a website):

You can see how to paint such textures in Blender from a tutorial below:

Hope this could help making your already exellent artworks even better! :)

Still lovely, Jucundus. It does remind me of some of those old Bible illustrations. If it were an actual illustration, I would still be a practicing Christian LOL

Around her, the soldiers enjoy the show, not losing a moment. They look at her as she writhes under the whip, they look at her firm boobs and turgid nipples, they look at her long and splendid legs, they look at her round ass, and they make dirty comments: "Look what a bitch!" "Give me five minutes, and I'll punish her with my cock!" "Look at her thighs, look at that ass, who knows how many stallions have mounted her". Others incite the lictors to hurt her: "Come on, Valerio, stronger!" "Yes, make her scream, louder!" Others simply insult her: "Bitch, take this!" "THIEF, thief, take what you deserve!" Others clap their hands, or shout when another shot is struck.

Nice!!

A lot of people don't like it bloody but it is more authentic when it is.
Maybe a part of the reason why people seem to not like it could be because it'd quite a nuisance to depict the blood in 3d art, while not too many erotic actresses willingly submit themselves to such a scene.

The Passion of the Thief. This is probably the goriest picture I ever made, but we are talking about being whipped to death...

Simply perfect!!! Thaaaaaanks jucundus!

I have tried to look at which part in the story this illustration could correspond. I have found this:

The Nubian aims again at her left side. He steps forward to gain momentum and lets the scourge make a wide arc in the air: "swiiiisshhh!" The tips hit her on the ribs, on the side where the skin is thinner, and this time the sound is sharper:

"CCRRKKKTTTUUHHHUUD."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH"

Gabriella's scream rises high, when the pain from her battered ribs explodes in her brain. The straps wrap around her entire left flank, tearing skin and delicate tissues. Sadistically, the Nubian waits a moment before pulling back the scourge, and when he does, feeling resistance, he pulls horizontally, so that the small hooks penetrated into her living flesh tear it into small pieces. For Gabriella it is like being skinned alive, she feels distinctly the hooks tearing at her flesh, and screams out of pain:

"aaaaAAHHH uuuAAAAAHHH AAAAAHHHHHH" three long and distressing screams.
