If you want to talk about greed, I think the trend of publishers like Adobe expecting users to shell out for their software year after year fits the bill. An artist expecting compensation for their hard work, not so much.

I fiddled with GIMP (the graphics software) for a while, but it had a sharp learning curve, and couldn't quite do the things I needed. I navigated to Corel Paintshop Pro Photo a while back, and haven't had cause to regret it yet. I'm sure there are things Photoshop does that Paintshop does not, but for my uses, it's perfect... and I only had to pay for it once.

Well said. Artists should be able to expect something for their work. Adobe should be able to expect some remuneration for their software. However, the system that allowed software companies to sell "licenses" rather than the actual thing, has now led to the logical conclusion where you don't even get your own copy anymore (which you never owned, incidentally), but have to rely on a subscription so that you never actually stop paying. This will, I suspect lead to all sorts of open source software, like GIMP, and freeware photo editors, as well as increasingly sophisticated piracy.

I tried GIMP at one point, and couldn't work it out. That was years ago, and I expect after a couple of years of using Photoshop now that GIMP would be more useful to me. I have Photoshop CS6, which is the last version that you could "pay once" for, and before Adobe went to their monthly payment schedule software. I have it, and I refuse to upgrade it, because I firmly believe that a version that I do not have to pay for to make it work is the superior version.

I've just come across this site.

I like the SkatingJesus's comics because of its ideas and, mainly, because of its big amount of pictures full of details in any scene. Very great work.
However. I've got a "problem": it's the fact that I prefer not such a thin or skinny young women but a fat mature white women (fat ass women) being punished (whipping).
I wonder if I can enjoy some of these scenes in SkatingJesus art or comics.

last pic: shattered shins dont think she will last very long
 
Dont think she will be able to breath very soon, without the possibility to push herself up
her arms will fail in strength very soon.
I doubt if there is even enough room to relieve the stretched chestcavity and lungs effectively.
Her knees dont seem to be bend that much if you look at the angle of the lower legs in comparison to the wood.

Death, I fear will come rather sooner then later
She will be in a lot of pain sure.. but she would last must longer if her knees had some room to move.

Possibly as intended by the artist ofc :)

yeah, that's exactly what I did, and honestly, I've done it here and here before, Skatingjesus doesn't mind, I'm helping him a little bit until I add the whole comic ... which I'll never do!

just by the way here one of the characters in andaroos 16! Darken.
