I've not seen that crucifixion video, thanks.

They have gone to a lot of trouble but fall into the usual traps; of course the coy coverings are ridiculous, they look less like loincloths & more like the thin chiton shirt-like tunics torn to fall below the waist - yes a possible take & it solves the nudity problem. But I still think with clever camera angles crucifixion films could be made again that in them it is obvious that Jesus & the criminals are crucified naked without any rude bits shown, Scorsese managed that & I thought that would set the norm thereafter. The extra trauma & crowd reaction would add loads of zest to the usual miserable scenario that we keep seeing.

There seems a fashion now to make the two thieves look like ordinary blokes. I don't like it much, the short hair & modern look just doesn't fit into the narrative. Also these two are hardly knocked around at all.

The stick-on rubber 'wounds' on Jesus are a bit false looking. They would look better if more blood was shown flowing from such nasty gashes. Mel got that wrong, the severe wounds the make-up department did on Jim Caviezel were so flesh mangling that they surely would have bled copiously not just whilst being scourged (there was blood then) but also later when on the cross.

Id enjoy being crucified again but idk how many people are into the femboy physique. I've started running again to get back into the ideal shape, wearing only these shorts:
