It was the moment during Stations of the Cross when the priest said, “He stood naked, ready to die on the cross.”

12 year-old me pictured what that would be like, then looked at my “girlfriend” (middle school relationships were so serious!) next to me and pictured her naked and crucified with me...

It was the beginning of a long and beautiful fetish.

"Bad enough they put me up here in this heat. I hate sweating in public. And couldn't they have found me a more attractive loincloth? This thing doesn't cover what it should, so what good is it? Ouch, now it's binding. Shit, I've got a wedgie, I'll bet the only wedgie in crux history! Maybe if I squirm against the stipes a bit. Grinding like a stripper. It's getting loose, looser. . . YES! An odd time to be nailing someone, after she is already tied and elevated. Better when she's on the ground.

But, this is a realistic, well-acted video scene. The actress appears terrified, in pain, and with her body extremely stressed (straining muscles, shuddering, spasms). Lots of sweating--it's what you'd expect to see. I could quibble about the footrest being too supportive, but very realistic nonetheless. Who's to say crucifixions weren't carried out like this to make the condemned last for days on the cross.

One thing I like about this though ...

I'd imagine I was first roped to the cross, ... there was still some hope.
Maybe I'll just have to suffer here for the rest of the day and then they'll let me go?
Tough enough but with the support for my feet, I'd make it.
It would be painful and humiliating but I'd get to live... a harsh kind of pillory.

But maybe in the meantime some decision-making is going on.
"Nail her up or cut the ropes and let her down?"

Maybe onlookers get to secretly vote, and now they've done the count?

Maybe some council of honorables has conferred and judged my fate?

Maybe some rich notables get to buy the outcome they want ... if they want to pick a slave from the cross and take her home they can do that; but if they want to see her screaming and struggling with nails through their limbs they can have that done too...

Whichever it was, the waiting is over and the decision is made... :eek:

Nicely imagined. The terror the poor girl must endure until the decision is made! Then, knowing of the decision when she sees the crucifier climb to her with a hammer and nails, she just loses all emotional control as she endures the nailing. Meanwhile, she watches as another girl is released from her cross as her punishment is over.

Fascinating scenario!

Exactly! and it's going to be the question, as the nails are about to go in ... not that I would wish the same fate for her ... but what was the difference? What did she do, or not do, that made them let her down ... while it's me getting the nails...
