Jedakk's Masterpiece

I know many of you are looking forward to seeing Sabina's feet nailed, but you're just going to have to wait. There will be several scenes of preparation as the executioner's helpers finish tying Sabina's feet in place, she lifts herself up on the ropes, the executioner probes her foot, places the nail and draws his hammer back, and strikes the first blow. It will take several blows to drive it down while Sabina struggles and writhes, all the while trying to avoid slipping down onto the cornu. Then there's another foot.
In fact, it will take time to find the right place for the nails on such beautiful feet.
... Perhaps some of the spectators kneel down in front of her to have a better view of your feet.
... Maybe Sabina can catch a last look at her beautiful, still intact feet ...
... it will be very exciting!!!

Had a thought, what if a officer of the Praetorian Guard showed up about now. He was curious because of the rumor he had heard of a beautiful girl being executed.
Another thread to the story?
Gibbs, you do realize that pretty girls hanging naked on crosses were so commonplace in Ancient Rome that passersby would barely spare them a glance, by which I mean that's a scenario that punches my libido buttons hard and like much of this fetish has zero basis in historical fact.

No matter. The late, great DeMullotto rendered said fantasy to perfection. :babeando:

Come to think of it, so did Jedakk at one point in Sabina’s evolution. :babeando::very_hot:

Where they that common?
Anyway, just a thought!

I don't have any statistics, but I'd guess that crucified men outnumbered crucified women at least ten to one, and how many of those would be pretty, or still attractive after whipping and other brutal treatment? And then unless a dominus really had an axe to grind, he'd probably sell a toothsome wench like Sabina rather than waste her value by crucifying her. Exceptions I can think of might have been the slave girls among the 400 slaves of Pedanius Secundus who were all crucified at once, who might well have escaped any pre-crucifixion whipping before being executed because the guards were hurried and under intense pressure from the populace.

You are likely right and in the last case the whipping, if any, might be perfunctory.
I was not suggesting adding a mew figure, maybe on a horse if he is an officer, that would most likely be a tremendous amount of work in both a storyline and a image. So don't do that please!!
It was just a thought I found interesting! The effect of a powerful figure turning up and saying "'Ollo, 'ollo what's going on 'ere now?" (fake british accent implied.)

Yeah, all those Romans spoke with British accents back then, you can see an accurate record of that in all the movies we saw growing up!

Of course, I remember them well!
And here I thought it was "What's all this then?"
What does the english bobby say when he comes home and finds his wife in bed with three men?

"'ollo, 'ollo, 'ollo, 'ollo?""

Hey guys, I'm here, I'm just very busy right now. Got an Easter program tomorrow and I'm singing bass in the choir for that. Choir director wants us to do seven songs all from memory, no music. First one is the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. I've sung in two performances of The Messiah, but the last one was forty years ago. The timing is very complicated in that and worse with no music to at least refer to. Anyway, there's that and then some other things have come up that have really taken a lot of time.

There was a death and a funeral coming up on Tuesday. I helped all I could until I was exhausted, then helped some more, but my neighbor who was also a good friend died. It was just his time and at my age I'm used to saying goodbye. Now I'm helping his widow get on her feet, organize her finances, sell things she doesn't need anymore. Life goes on.

I have the next scene sitting here on my screen about half done. I keep looking at it from time to time and tweaking the angle of Sabina's neck, bend of her abdomen, etc. Just not quite satisfied with it and really slow going with all the interruptions of life these days, sorry!

Sorry about all the deaths, I know the feeling.
When you said the the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah, this came to mind. Still the best flash mob I have seen!
Cheers and we can wait!

Wow, great job with just a flash mob like that, no director and I didn't hear much background music. We will have about a 30-piece orchestra with ours and could be several thousand people there.
And I also have a choir recording of it, but with music. I can imagine that such a demonstration without music is actually difficult.
First time I ever heard a rendition of it in a language other than English!

Well, this wasn't due to the virus, although having all the complications he had during this pandemic sure didn't make things any easier.

Several thousand people? And 30 piece orchestra?
Wow,
Better you than me! I would empty the place!
PS, that wasn't you one of the seniors there?
Actually I counted them and it was a 36-piece orchestra plus four guitars and a bagpiper, kilt and all! I did not get an accurate count of the choir, think it was about 60 voices. I ran into a friend on the way out of the dress rehearsal last night who said, "Man! Y'all sure were loud!" Which is a good thing. I'm sure we were just as loud this morning. Several thousand people in the audience, couple hundred sitting on the grass beyond the seats, kids running around playing on the grass. It was a great service in my opinion!

Wow, sounds like a great service! I am sure that you did just great!
