This is why you want to be "light" infantry. When things get bad it is easier to get out of there. "She who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day."

He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country." Or to quote Wellington "A good General knows when to retreat. A great General does it."

Elves garments are very economical, just a few metres of string, their skin must be very wind and rain proof.
My only question is: What do they do in a British winter? do they emulate the swallow and flit off to Africa when the weather turns cold?
Or like the Highlands Hares, do they grow long white fur all over?
Any thoughts from our resident elves? (I know there are a number on this site.

Well the merely human native of the Tierra del Fuego went naked and the weather there is widely regarded as worse than even Scotland.

I did read (somewhere) that the Fuegan males wore a sort of penis cover, on the left or right side depending on which way the wind was blowing.

Anyway I think the point stands you can wear some scanty clothing in inclement climes and still manage.

At first glance it looked like he/she had more bosom than me, but then some men do have more bosom than me.
If he ate a lot of seal blubber (for example) to help build him up to resist the cold, might explain?
Looking again, if she then she is no beauty but if male OK(ish) I suppose.
(Trouble with viewing thumbnails or small images on a small laptop early in the a.m.)

Well, that's definitely Ariel in the front line (don't recognize the other girls), and she does not ever give the impression of being a fierce warrior. She has a lot of other good qualities, of course, :very_hot::very_hot::very_hot: but she just does not look dangerous. :confused:
