a technical question: there are some images that I can reply only by selecting them, but the are other images (the ones that have title, size, and views when hover your mouse) that I can't reply, does this happens when using the thumbnail?
That’s beyond me, but May I suggest this post series from the cafe May answer your question

there’s a more important reason for using thumbnails though. Using them uses a lot less memory when people view them, which reduces the cost burden and given the site runs by donation, keeping the costs down is in all our interests.

The artist is called Ferres. Some of his work is really quite agreeable; this is from “A Passage East”

Yes of course... Ferres. I do know his work, but don't have very much of it in my archives. That and my recall no longer being what it used to be is why I couldn't put a name to it. Thank you for the id.

Ferres has a very “glossy” style which I sometimes find a little too glacial; I like a bit of noise and smudge in my imagery!. However I once saw a piece by him that I found stunningly beautiful and I’ve been searching for it ever since

I agree about his style being a bit too 'clean', or something like that. Doesn't do a lot for me.
I know the feeling. I had an image saved that I really liked, then I lost track of where I put it after 2 computer upgrades, file transfers, and cd backups. Took me a few years of going through old stuff to find it. I now have copies of it everywhere.

It was this one, which I believe is by Arcimboldo.

It originally came from the old Torture Drawing site, but there was no signature on it that I remember.
Anyway, It is about the best spiked chair piece I have yet to see.

This is the original that I found, and the other one I posted someone had removed the TD copyright from it.

Why do people keep removing the signatures from renderings or manipulations? If I want to show someone a picture that fits a post, I am happy to see who created it.
Not only that, it may be work that you really like and you want to find more of, perhaps even pay for it. That's what happened with me when I saw Medooza's artwork from the "Solana" series (commissioned illustrations for a story by Kristen Smart). I wanted more of his work and subscribed for a period of time.
Removing signatures & copyrights can actually hurt the creator financially, on top of not giving proper credit. Without the incentive for the artists to create, we all lose.

Nice renders! Thanks for including the name of the artist. Is he on Deviant Art by chance?
He might be on DA. Honestly I don't remember where I found these, but the file numbers look like they are from Image Fap. But try DA first. Andrey's work isn't very extreme as far as I know, so unlikely they dumped him if he was there.
