Aesthetically I would have preferred to see her put to the wheel without the blemishes from the hot irons on her torso.

I have a theory that she was set up on the orders of the King, perhaps she rejected his advances, maybe even informing the Queen of his lustful advances. Hence His Majesty taking such interest in the oroceedings and his enjoyment at watching the body he was denied slowly being destroyed.

I imagine her torment, and I already feel too sorry for her
<Sigh> I suppose that means no more torture with the hot irons, which is too bad, since you have illustrated this torture magnificently. Since her tormentors would not have any mercy on her, I think her torture would continue for some time to amuse the onlookers before she would be braided on the Wheel. But you're the artist, and I love your work.

Do you have any plans for a long interrogation scene in a dungeon for some equally unfortunate young lady? Given your skills, that would be great!

On the technical side, what model did you use for your heroine? And did you use a utility for her screams, because that really adds to the realism of your art. I do some 3D work myself, but I don't recognize the models or the expression. Great job there.

Sorry, but not this time. This will require the introduction of large structures into the scene, and I already cannot explain where this brazier came from) I think that it will be in the next works
I think what he meant was just a simple bail hook to lift her more easily and painfully.......I have attached a picture......

This is a very good plot for a future story:rolleyes: I would like to figure out how to express it)

Thank you) Of course I want to create scenes in the dungeon, but so far I have run into lighting problems. I have more or less learned how to work with sunlight, but with artificial lighting I have to try and find effective techniques.

Woooow!!! My god, Volod!!!! What an amazing continuation!!!
First of all, thank you very much for taking into consideration the hot iron torture for our poor girl!!!
And then, these images are just a gem!!!
How well you manage to transmit the victim's horror, pain and desperation...!!!
How well depicted the contact of the burning metal with the flesh and the girl's reaction to the unbearable pain...!!!
And awesome the marks the torture leaves on the skin...!!!
Watching these images, We just have the sensation of being sitting right there on the closest seats, enjoying each one of this girl`s sufferings and commenting the action with the rest of the privileged audience. I almost hear myself saying: "Ha-ha! Look at the breast squirming at the touch of the burning metal...!! Or.." Listen to her wonderful screams! She must be really feeling it...!"
Thank you a thousand times, Volod, for bringing this incredible scene to us!!!

As I said, it was not easy, but I believed and hoped that someone would like it. And such reviews finally make sure of this. Thank you a thousand times:)

Hello Volod!
For dungeon scene i suggest if you are using Daz Iray some point light, here is a test renders with 2 point light:
Point Light2.jpg
Also you can add some emission surfaces like those free candles available here: https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/90407/candle-set-dazstudio-iray
check the surface setting for the flame surfaces to recreate the emission effect in any 3d mesh in your scene.

Yes, it's not a bad option, but I would use it in a dungeon. For a public execution, I considered something like the one in the video, only in relation to a woman.

By the way, good pictures. I have not seen it anywhere before. Where is it from?
yeah i know it ... also by fire and sword ...

they are Polish feature films ... Taras bulba is one of them.

it's interesting how those pictures remind of the good old artist quoom..that it's not completely perfect yet, but you will learn! so far I have to say that you are constantly improving! and I will be excited to see what you can do in the future. amazing

if you want to deal with a dungeon, please! I'm just working on a bigger martyr not only in the dungeon, and I've also dealt with a few things with light ... but believe me..the worst part isn't light ..

Thanks for the advice) Yes, you have nice lighting. When I finish this story, I will definitely try.

It seems to me that the left candlestick has a green tint.

Thank you) Judging by your works, you have achieved great skill in depicting dungeons

I use Iray rendering in Daz Studio, and you're right: Lighting interior scenes is more difficult. But here is an example of a scene I've done with an interior dungeon.

1. I cheated a bit here by using an exterior HDMI light and making the ceiling/roof not visible. That lights most of the dungeon.

2. However, the character often won't look the way you want them without some individual mesh lights on them. I usually use a 3-point light on the main characters as detailed in the following website: https://thinkdrawart.com/how-i-light-my-daz-studio-iray-scenes

3. Sometimes the face is too dark if it's looking downward, so I add an additional light to my 3-light set and aim it at her face.

Sometimes I have to play with luminance values of the exterior sun light as well as sun position and also with the luminance values of the 3-point lights. Based on how you're doing with your exterior scenes, you likely know about this.

I personally often use the method of Master Bleumune, that I hide the ceiling ... but not always it is simply possible ... I often use fires, and light from hot iron ... it will make the scene darker, etc ...
or, I'll use a primitive object (a sphere and with the help of Iray lights) I'll make it a kind of light sphere that will illuminate your environment, but this is probably the most complicated way ... and laborious.

in addition, there are light models in daz3d specifically for dark environments.

honestly now I would do the scene where I have a dungeon probably differently ... I didn't use photoshop and others here before.

you can also adjust the brightness and light in photoshop (but haven't tried it here)

Thanks for the advice. Yes, Photoshop can solve a lot of problems, but so far I have been using it to a minimum. I can't get used to its interface, and sometimes it frankly annoys me))
