Game of Torments

Ooops! I forgot, that I made a very humble and older one with Her Grace, the Stormborn Danaerys. Here we see her awakening on an old cart, deep in the NOrth, captured by a rough wildling... Yews, it's a very humble image. Sorry.

I'm enjoying these very much. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Wulf. It's always nice to get a reaction that's more than just an emoji. Even if it is a criticism (which your s of course is not).

For example, I was expected some negative feedback at Daenerys being broken after her treatment on the wooden horse. Of course I am a bit limited in what I can portray, since I am only adapting artwork by Agan Medon to the GoT theme, and lack the means to produce it myself. I would have loved, for example, to insert a scene of Dany struggling with her captors, or spitting in Cersei's face. No similar material available, alas.

The clash between the hero and torture is always an interesting philosophical question. By definition the hero is "the unbreakable2, but also by definition "everyone breaks under torture" (I think they are both tropes on TVTropes). Martin, who is a very sly writer, shows us how Theon is reduced to a will-less state by protracted torture. But Theon is a flawed character to start with. I am reasonably certain he will never put the three main heroes of ASOIAF (Daenerys, Jon Snow, Arya Stark) in the same situation.

In the real world I believe it all depends on the means, determination and skills of the torturer. Given enough time, IMO, anyone, even the strongest, will eventually break.
