Out of everything I've seen here, your works looks the best.
Yeah @Flekso you joined last monday and you probably seen it everything :sarcasm:

Jucundus is a good artist yes, calling him the only one?

I call BS with a touch of noobness :)

Jucundus is right! There are very good artists. But you don't just thank everyone ...
I see his work as balanced as possible. Quality of performance and content. In fairness, it should be noted that some of the work seemed too naturalistic to me. But it didn't have much effect on my perception of his work as a whole.
And you openly said that the work of others is not even worth your sight ..
As for your work specifically, then, no offense, but you are clearly new to this. It is read in your works. My first association was with a child in a candy store. He wants to try everything at once. Therefore, your work is very overloaded with details and actions. Try to focus on something specific.

Name me someone else. You've been here longer than me. I'll use the search and take a look.
I must say right away that I am not very interested in the "painted" works. Only CG artworks

So you like style (Jucundus)for the most part. well that's allright..
But yeah there's a lot more to be found here with great artists for you to discover.

As for other 3D artists: Jedakk, Quoom, Skatingjesus, Mp5Stab, Aluafaen and Rimmon Ra, _Cadre, Arch Stanton, Hornet1ba,
Bartnel, Fnshr, jastrow, SeD, Slanece, Cobra, vic44, hasturan, Helmut, Alexart, slanece, Zerco, Rotrex, and dare I say it?: Ramon
Some pure 3D artist some with other talents as well :p

I am sure I forgot some wonderfull 3D artists. apology in advance to them
Some "old" artist with limited hardware at the time they made their stuff are also inlcuded.
Some still active, some retired or even deceased.
Lots of inspiration, lots of styles that gave me ideas to make and expand my own art (Crumera)

But then again I like and get inspiration from other types of art creation as well:
Sketches and drawings, painitngs, staged photo's photomanips, and mixed arts.
3d is the style I make cause I don't have the talent/patience for making drawings/paintings or have the equipment for photographic art.

(Hope I spelled all the names right)
There is more then just CGI IMHO

Yeah, I'm just like that! They are constantly improving! They also focus on small little things ... When I do batch scenes, there is usually action! And you're wrong ... I'm no newcomer to 3d art and especially crucifixion. I have years of experience .. As a spectator, fan, and now a 3d artist. And if you take a closer look at my works, you'll find out what training he went through here in one year.

We don't do awards on here for the best artists, we appreciate anybody that goes to the trouble of making and posting their art. It is not a competition.

We also try to be encouraging towards those who are just setting out on their journeys as artists, and you'll find threads exchanging advice about programs and techniques.

Even within 3D each artist has their own style and techniques, and some will chime with our personal tastes better than others.

There is a 'favourite artwork' thread where anyone can say which artist, and which pictures they like best,

but everyone's allowed their own opinion. If Flekso likes Jucundus, he's in good company, and I like his work too. But I love the broad range of artists and styles that we get treated to here! :)

Wow! Just wow.
Amazing artwork! I love how she touched him with her foot.
Also she looks pleased. Perhaps this man made a good decision to be gentle.
Maybe later he will go further and give her some herb potion to cease the pain.
Sadly for her, this interlude will make no difference to her fate.

Her brief pleasure, if it is pleasure, will be but a memory as he returns to his duty, takes up his hammer, and rives those cruel spikes through her delicate wrists and feet, joining her to the rough wood of the cross for the rest of her pain-filled life. Perhaps, as she twists and turns on her cross, dancing her agonised dance, he will feel a minor pang of regret for the waste of a beautiful body.

More likely is that he will walk away without a backward glance, another job done, wondering whether he will be able to exchange her few scraps of clothing for a jar of cheap wine.

I'll limit my comment to the technical aspects of this amazing picture, which - put together - contribute to an emotional overall effect.
All the details of the characters are so accurate to make them look like real people. Elements that to often aren't treated with the deserved accuracy in 3D imagery (including my stuff) are perfectly rendered.
I'm particularly impressed by the care taken in reproducing the work of the musculature, on both characters. The back isn't an easy area to depict correctly, but
Jucundus demonstrates here a knowledge of anatomy (and a good use of the tools and morphs) that is more frequent among traditional artists than in the 3D world.
Textures, posing, expressions, shadows, a moderate use of color saturation and contrast, and of course composition make this image one of the most impressive I have seen in some time.

Wow! Just wow.
Amazing artwork! I love how she touched him with her foot.

Almost too awesome for words! Love the curl of her toes.. and the signs of tears on her cheeks. Great composition and viewpoint. Brutal and beautiful image. :ARMS1:

Those toes are a signature of Jucundus, one of those little touches that gives his work so much life.

I wonder, does her touching him that way indicate engagement, pleasure? Is she moments away from wrapping her legs around his powerful body? Or is it a futile effort to push him away? I think we can be sure that he is enjoying himself, and he is certainly giving her something to remember for the rest of her life . . . . . .
