“Repentance”
(ink on paper)
Closely based on Georges Pichard’s cover art for “The Road To Repentance”, this is my tribute to him and the inspiration his work has given me.
Damn... ya snuck one in on me and I almost missed it. Yeah it looked familiar, and to be honest I like yours better. Thanks for sharing.

In other news, I can not believe that it has taken me two weeks to notice this thread.

Well. Damn. Done. Monty. :babeando: :very_hot: :clapping:

Road to Repentance is a darn beautiful story and opened my mind to being a kinky penitent in a convent. I’d love to be a novice at Our Holy Mother of Perpetual Chastisement!

Bloody nice sketch, @montycrusto - I tend to agree with @Eulalia ’s analysis that your sketch conveys the coldness of her cell, the constriction of her restraints, the cold hard stone, and the inadequate gruel she is given in complete humiliation. Such a fortunate penitent to be permitted to offer her penance to the Lord in this way. That is the best part of being Catholic!!

Delicious! Here's Pichard's original:

As you say, very close, but I think if anything you've made her all the more tense and fearful - and the simple lines of your b&w drawing make the scene harsher, none of the softness that the colour inevitably adds.

A great tribute. Studying the masters is always useful (and fun). As Eul said, the picture, in absence of color, conveys the message even more directly.
I have always loved how Pichard's women many times seem to have an ironic attitude towards the harsh predicaments they're in, like in this case.

This is why I like black and white  I have had some works “coloured in” by others (sometimes with my knowledge and permission, sometimes without) and usually I prefer the B/W original, although @mp5stab did a great job on one of my sketches, quite a long time ago. Several Pichard comics are available in colour and B/W, you can guess which I prefer

Time for another golden oldie. 2017 was a good year..

“Abducted” (ink on paper)

No story with this one.. I guess it’s kind of self-explanatory. This is one of the few drawings I actually sold a print of, on DeviantArt.
I love the hair-pulling, ballgag and cable-ties in this pic, and I’m still quite happy with it.

Great work, Monty, your "heroines" always manage to convey beauty and vulnerability combining innocence with the traits of a slut, which is remarkable.
