Before you watch this video, please read this first. I have a hard time understanding my fascination with this fetish. I love women and I would never intentionally hurt a woman. I am not really into torture, but at times I can be aroused by the idea of torturing a woman. Some would like to hear screams with these animations, and I get that. We all are here for reasons that perhaps we cannot explain and they are probably different for all of us. This video attempts to explore my understanding of my fascination and why I love it. I think women, their minds and their bodies are the most beautiful vision ever placed on this planet. Watching one that is subdued and struggling drags on a lot of emotions. To me a woman on a cross is a display of beauty against a backdrop of taboo. This song by Evanessence about a woman that has loved and lost that love is beautiful, haunting, a raw juxtaposition placed against the view of a beautiful naked woman that has been betrayed and is struggling on the cross. The song is emotional and I hope the combination invokes something in each of you as you also see the beauty and the eroticism of a beautiful young woman in peril.

Yes, this is my attempt to do something a little different with a crux video. We'll see how it comes across.

If you prefer something that is less emotional and perhaps a bit more erotic, turn your sound off.

I sure like what you made however if you don’t mind i’d like to point out some improvements.
The girl is dark skinned under a dark cloud which would be better if she or the cloud was lighter.
The only other thing I’d put on my wish list is no music but instead you could just record sounds from a saw movie or queensnake clip. Both of these would cause extra work so i’m just suggesting them for a future creation.

Yes, everything is being done in real time. The hair is just moving in response to her movements, gravity or another character that were to touch it. The physics are quite good, of course they may also explode, I mean if there is too much collision and the system can't compensate they may go flying around the scene and literally explode. It can be quite humorous unless you haven't saved your work! The software was designed not just for making animations and images, but for sex simulation where you can interact with the other character(s) in real time. Basically it can function as a game and you can spend hours doing things with scenes that you download (free ones and pay ones) and never create anything That was how I started, as I learned I started creating things. I have also gone into Virtual Reality with my VR goggles on (that I bought just for this software) and stood there in front of each the of girls in these videos and examined them from all angles. It is is unbelievably amazing! In VR these characters can look VERY realistic.

Here is another cat that I will let out of the bag. I am editing a video that was made with me possessing a character and interacting with the victim on the cross. I hope to post this one tomorrow. I am afraid that I am trying to work around the fact that I do not have full motion capture hardware and there are some things that do not work right. As in I can't move the feet of my character, just the head and the hands which are tracked by the headset and the two controllers you hold in each hand.

So yes, this all real time. What you see in the video was what you would see on your screen in the program. No waiting for render to finish. These longer videos would take hours and hours to render. Here, you just active the sequence and record, three minutes later you have video. I did do some upgrades to my computer, but it is definitely not a high end gaming computer either.

Thank you hanger58! You just gave me what I consider the ultimate compliment. If you can't decide whether the video is real or 3D then I have achieved my goal! These are 3D with a new software that is unbelievable.

Presumably you could have more than one other character in the scene if you had a powerful enough computer? A victim and an observer +/- a carnifex?

Yes, you can add as many characters as your computer can handle. For those of us with limitations there are different quality characters with lower resolution mesh and textures that will tax resources less. There are also "NPC" characters that you can load, these are very low resolution and take very minimal resources. They also are very limited in that you cannot change their pose. They come setup for different animations like talking, sitting, dancing, walking, etc. You load them and place them, but that is about all you can do. They are good for crowds though. They also come clothed and naked. I built a strip club scene with them that worked out pretty good.

At 02:52 the light just catches a tear... that in combination with Evanessence's song makes this particularly beautiful.

Thank you Wragg! I am glad that you caught that tear and appreciated the emotion brought in by Evanessence. I have to admit that once I had edited it and sat back to watch it through, that it touched me in some way. Which is why I continue to do art, and especially crux art. I can explore things that I can't even really think through properly with my art and come to a better understanding. I admit that I mainly make images and now videos for myself, for relaxation, the sensual stimulation, and at times to explore things that I do not understand by immersing myself in it and examining my reactions. I share it with you all...... sometimes... when I think the result might be something you all would appreciate as well. Most of my art is created, examined and then lives out it's existence on my hard drives.

This project is something I have never tried before. MH himself makes a guest star appearance to torment Brianna as she hangs on her cross. I used the tracking abilities of the VR headset and the two game controllers that came with the Oculus Quest 2 headset. Then entering VR, I interacted with the very realistic looking character of Brianna. One of the problems with creating an animation this way is that I cannot move the legs as I only have the three trackers for the motion capture. If I decide to do more of these type of animations, I will need to invest in at least three independent trackers, for the hips and both feet. That would yield a much more realistic set of movements.

So, there are some issues with this video that lower the overall immersiveness of the video. One, which really irritates me is the icon that pops up in the lower left hand corner a few times. This video was done with several "takes" and then the best parts edited together. I did not even notice that icon while editing and saw it for the first time after I was done.
So, this is a slightly ambitious first attempt at making something a lot different, that could only be made by amateurs in a program like VAM.

Besides being something different, this video is a little darker than the emotional one I posted yesterday. So, it probably fits in here a little better. ;)

Crumera, if you have a Mac, do this to download:
1 use Safari to open CruxForums and get to the mermaidhunter video
2 start the video playing
3 hold down Control and click and hold on the video window
4 go down to "Save frame as..." (Make sure it saves as a "Web Archive")
5 save it to where you want on your hard drive.

The saved video file will open thereafter in a Safari window. You don't have to have Safari open or even an internet connection to open the file. Once open, you can go to full screen if you wish. I haven't tried any editing in that format (such as lightening the background, etc.), but I may do that soon.

Unfortunately, I don't know what one would do with a PC to download.
