I can imagine her being rescued by slave hunters. Such kindly souls who distract the lion before netting the real prey! She will require most severe training, of course! Then she can join the coffle and be marched under the lash across the desert to the slave markets.

In one of Thessia laboratories, Asari scientists are breeding a new species of Rachni with the ability to reproduce at the expense of the human body. The fertilized and mutated mucus is placed in the stomach of a human female through the tentacles of nutrition, which adult rachni insert into the mouth of a human female. Within two days, eggs are formed in the human intestine, which on the third day the human female begins to lay. After the little Rachni hatch from the eggs, they begin to feed on human female, eating them from the inside......
