Hi jack,
I'm replying to your post on the Venus in Furs thread. I also use the Free Video Converter and as you can see once you have set the output format then every thing else is automatic. What I would like to see happen is that if people click on the play button on the screen (not the link) then they can watch the video using the JW Flash player. If they like it then they can download it. I still haven't heard from anyone who can click play on the Sabina or Venus in Furs videos. I can download your versions of Venus in Furs and play them on my video player but I can't get them to play by clicking the play button on the screen.

There is a very big point just by looking at your desktop you are full of crappy programs and your PC is an Acer wich is the worst brand actually.
So YES you definitly need to clean very well your Windows but is too complicated from here all i can tell you is all programs you installeld create conflicts and mess up things.
Just an exemple Dvix when you install it it ask you if want only codec, you don't need player and converter because you have alredy Video Converter who do the business.
This is a list of some i saw:
AVG and Spy boot = Crap downlad and install Windows Security essential wich is free and from Microsoft a great product.
Dvix Player, Dvix converter, KM player, will just create mess is better to unistall them, for auido you have to many programs that do the same select one and unistall others.
You don't have XP you have VISTA whic changes a lot of things there are billions of setting to do on the system to improve it drastically.
I'm sorry but is almost impossible to explane to you how to improve things from here do you know a Microsoft certifed guy who can help you there?
We could try to fix things but it will takes weeks, to perform an optimization of Vista it takes almost 3 hours in place, imagne doing it by sendings screenshoot and then decide what programs you need and reinstall them in a proper way.

The videos i uploaded have been viewd by 120 people right now so they works as Sabina movie work it's just you that have the issue.
I must admit that i hardly understud what you say but the point is that the video i uploaded works just whit a wmv player wich is Media player or VLC
Jw flash player as name said is adobe flash player it's a FVL format wich is totally different.
To make the point there are a lot of video type the most used is .AVI wich can be compressed whit codecs then the WMV and the FVL wich used on site for banners and to see Youtube.
To make video as ImageMaker do check this site : http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/
If you look there is also how to put them on website like this or others read carefully also support section is all in your language you should be able to find a solution.
The important thing is that Flash player can't play WMV files and Media Player can't play FVL files, once you installed Adobe flash player you can play everthing is on the net, that's why i never installed Jw or others players, the only additional player for Windows could be Real Player or QuickTime wich in any case i avoid to install.
Check well the link i sent you and please you are making mistakes as everyone do just prss ok allways,try to stay calm don't press or do stuff whitout reading if you are not sure look on the net or on youtube there are many tutorials, take your time before driving a car you have to learn it.

Of course I haven't given up! Whatever made you think that? Problems are being solved as I write. I really do appreciate your efforts and will surely ask your advice when really stuck. I think you should bear in mind that this website is paid for and run by professionals for amateurs like me. I am a mathematician and enjoy a challenge and the joy of success! One of the good things about this site is how people do want to help. I would not want to sit back and have someone solve all my problems for me. That is not the way to learn. I can now post youtube videos thanks to a hint or two from ImageMaker. Last year I could not even put a PDF together. You certainly did not fail!!............please continue posting.

I'm not so good in english but i think that the application is made for servers wich hosts sites or forum as this, on this server since ImageMaker is able to post them the application is alredy there, but the missing point is that you have first to upload files inside server NOT by using attachment but by browsing the server as you browse your PC, wich means having an FTP conenction whit password and user name , then put them in the right folder and when you will make the post copy the code above.
By reading the script i assume it search on server for files so you have to write the right folder in wich you putted yous file before pasting the code on the post.
After that you will play it whit a normal flash player i use Adobe Flashplayer.

I found a working solution by using youtube but i don't think they will allow to pubblish some videos.
Those are steps.
1 Create an account on you tube
2 Upload a video on youtube every format is fine, and maximum size is 2gb yes is not a typing mistake is GIGABYTE
3 Copy the link the from youtube NOT THE CODE ONLY THE WEB ADRESS on the top of browser bar.
4 Open a topic on the forum.
5 Press FLV button and paste the link inside the two [flv] writes.
One important thing is that the resolution of video it will be 480x640 because this is the default settings of JW player installed on this server.
This is a video i made for promoting my photoshop site:

So now the issue is find a service like youtube but whitout restriction and if there is someone who is able to that is YOU !!

Let's hope that ImageMaker make the miracle, to be honest it didn't took so much to find those site there are infinte stuff like that around the net, i just thought that pornhub is less messed compared to others, not to mencion that while going on many others site i found a lot of viruses and other crap, this one is safe except for a popup that don't create any security problem.
We can also share pics from that it could be perfect since on imageshack i noticed that some hard pics are cutted out.
We will see i will make others experiments.

They worked last night but not today. i've posted some new ones. Could the explanation be that the URL changes on youtube? In that case this sever will be looking for a file that no longer exists.

I saw mine too wasn't working well today, then i went to youtube to check and url was fine and when i come back to forum everthing worked.
Probably it was just a small problem on this server or on youtube they clean topics and for some seconds some videos don't works.
You did the right thing checking on you tube because it happens often than some vdeo being removed.
Anyway if it happen something like this again don't worry just wait some time often is just a matter of connections and if server processor is busy it might have problems to menage requests of users and commands.
