That second one gives me Bartnel Vibes, I love it!

For me the bartnel vibe started at image 9 or 1o, with that circular carved stage in the middle of a desert.

A splendid series of manips that very successfully tell the story without the need for much text at all. For me, the finest image is this one:

That moment of exhaustion - she can't get away, isn't on the cross quite yet - the "edge" moment of transition. We don't see nearly enough of this moment or this sort of perspective. Beautifully done.
