Nice use of the loincloth in the first one. Her body is also well toned which would make a nice one to go through a crucifixion. You could start her story with her being an elf escaping those who are trying to capture her and her shooting back to keep them from getting her. However, she would kill a few and run out of arrows eventually being captured.

You will still see these demonstrations\competitions in Japan just as you will see Medieval reenacting in Europe or Civil War reenacting in America. The Euros have have started to call it "experimental archeology" and if you try doing things as they actually did them (using technology they had available to them) you do learn a lot. Especially as to what is portrayed wrong and WHY it is wrong.

Interestingly with Japanese horseback archery not only did they use a long bow from horseback (fairly unique in Military matters) but also at some point they developed a methodology where the bow was not held in the middle (as this lady is doing) but about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the bow to give the archer a better hold to switch fire from side to side quicker.

Despite Hollywood portrayals when you read accounts of Japanese battles the bow and the pole arm where much more prevalent on the battlefield than the sword (but then they were in Europe too), even among Samurai. You can read stories and accounts of how high archery skills were valued by Japanese aristocrats.
