Hello, there is some great stuff around here and I am always about trying to give back something ;)

So I want to show you a small sculpture I made. Hope you enjoy it unless it is far from perfect

This is the unpainted version. Made of air-dry clay and about 26cm in height together with the podest (so it is relatively small)

Here it is painted with acrylic colours and then covered with acrylic laquer. I was thinking about painting or not for a long time before I decided that I might like the more dramatic look instead of the artistic white-look

Think I am okay with it and hope you feel inspired

Guess one day I will do a better one with more correct anatomy

What comes now are some very very old drawings. I posted them in this forum many years ago, before I left for some time. Hope you still like them. Its different styles that I was trying around with

sorry, these are no quality scans, just photographs taken from the sheets.

The last thing I can offer for today are some studies I did for the composition of my sculpture. They are a drawing and a painting, both in the size of a postcard. I like the idea to maybe create a kind of small "devotional pictures" in that size, of crucified women like they exist from other saints, too. My inspiration during the time making these were also the story of saint Eulalia. This is, why you see snow in the painting, as it is said, snowfall started during her crucifixion. Although most depictions of Saint Eulalia are with an X-Cross, I chose to use a classic T anyway, like for example Waterhouse also did.

Fantastic! It's a wonderful skill to be able to bring your dreams alive like this in a tangible way. I particularly like the first pic, the camera has captured the shadows in a way that really enhances her figure. My preference is for the unpainted version, maybe because the painted one doesn't show the figure to such an advantage, but that may simply be how the photo was taken. The painted one does show that mysterious place where the thighs meet and the loin cloth recedes quite nicely :)

Yes! I just found this:
Post in thread 'From My Archive 1999 To ?'
https://www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/from-my-archive-1999-to.6119/post-545519
But @sculpteur please go ahead and post them again here in your own time or whatever, great work!
I am still a bit speechless! I didn't know my stuff was still watched in 2020 ... ... ...

THANKS for all that appreciation

Those were from my 2006 archive, so it has been a long time, Sculpteur. I hope you have many more great images to share with us now you are back. I love new creations like this.

Beautiful! Indeed, the earliest (and finest) account of Eulalia's martyrdom (in Merida), by Prudentius about a century later, says she was bound between two pillars with burning braziers placed around her. She shook her head so her hair caught fire, and she was thrown out onto the cold pavement of the Forum, where her spirit flew away as a white dove, and a shower of snow blanketed her. J W Waterhouse's painting has her lying there, but with a T-cross above her on which she has evidently just been tortured, but that seems to have been his own idea- it certainly plays an important part in the composition of the picture. The images showing her with or on an X-cross are in Barcelona, from a millennium later - a painting on a wooden panel with her, fully clothed, holding the cross is 15th century, the famous bas-relief of her nearly naked on the X-cross by Pedro Villar is later 16th.

But I like your portrayal of my name-saint very much!

Thanks for showing us your beautiful work, Sculpteur. The clay figure must have taken many hours to complete.
I hope you will create some more of these. :)

Thanks to all of you for all your likes and comments!

@phlebas .. Yes, taking the photo is at least half of the success when showing objects in pictures. In fact, I tried to do my best on my kitchen table without any professional studio lighting.
Unfortunately I have long periods of not making any artwork as I also have a daily life to manage and doing art really consumes me completely. I dive into those fantasies for days then. Also in the past years I did a lot of semi private rope bodage art with lots of great real women, which consumed all my attention. So there is not that much stuff to follow for now. But we will see. I have some more bdsm-drawings from another period that are not about crucifixion. But I saw you have a general bdsm-forum, too. So I could post them there if you want to find out if you might enjoy them, too.

@Eulalia .. Thanks for your appreciation and the detailed descriptions about your name-saint! Seems you really went into that story a lot. I also did a bit research and found that in fact there seem to be two saints with nearly similar stories. A St.Eulalia from Barcelona and a St.Eulalia from Merida which some researchers don't see as the same. Do you know more about that?
I also could not find any proof story about one of them crucified. I just found several artworks that you also described that somehow connect with crucifixion. In fact it was just the caracter of Eulalia that after days thinking about that proud, courageous, spiritual, young woman, nearly made me fall in love with her. So I decided to think of her when doing that sculpture. There is also a bronze statue from 1880 that shows a woman crucified on a T-cross and is called Eulalia Christiana. The artist was Emilio Franceschi. Here is a link https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Emilio_franceschi,_eulalia_cristiana,_1880.jpg

Yes, it took several days. When I start with such a project, I work on it day and night and can't stop till I feel okay with it. Maybe you know that, too, as an artist. For me it can be dangerous as I just do that as a hobby for now. So please be patient, I need another period of that fever inside me one day ;) ... and time

Oh please do post in BDSM group! I’d love to see them for one...

I now checked my archives to find something to say thank you for it was worth to all of you to drop a line or give a like

It is close to crucifixion, but not really is one, so I hope I am allowed to post this here. It is from a series of drawings I made around 2015. They all play in a kind of fantasy world, where monks, warriors, magicians and amazons experience a lot of kinky stuff. I did not take it too serious and sometimes was a bit influenced by the comics of porn-artists. So it is a totally different style, not so much fine-art, but more kinky comic art. Also with some nonsense "conversations" in it ;) Hope you feel inspired anyway

@Loinclothslave1 ... okay, the rest of this series will follow in the general bdsm-forum one day :)

So thanks again for all the likes! And here comes some more ...
