Annoying things in pics and movies

I get it why she wears shoes in the first scene: It is her intake and she still wears the rest of her clothes, too. But why is she still wearing her shoes in the second scene after they tied her down for her treatment? That does not make any sense at all. Did no one think about how she could use her high heels as a weapon when kicking after an orderly?

On the other hand, I am completely fine if the model wears shoes for safety reasons. Like in this scene where Alina West is tied to the back of a car and then made to run behind it through the woods:

I totally agree! Shoes on an otherwise naked model are just incongruous! Especially if she, or he, is supposed to be a slave in an outdoor setting.

Although I stay with what I wrote before: If the shoes are worn for safety reasons, it is a necessary evil I can live with. Imagine the model stepping on a sharp stone, cutting her feet. That would definately be the end of the shoot (and probably an incoming lawsuit for the production company). Personally, I once accidentally stepped into a glass shard while barefoot and believe me, it was an experience I could have done without.

For the same reasons, I am also okay with the model sitting or kneeling on an inconspicious blanket during an outdoor shoot, as long the rest of the scene is good.

When I first read the heading, I thought it was referring to crux, rather than BDSM. My answer was nails in the hands rather than wrists & lack of full nudity.

On BDSM, overacting is probably by biggest peeve.

I actually think that tan lines would be extremely realistic, if they were tan lines that matched the clothes of the era, that would be used in the fields. Not what most of the models would consider sexy.

Agreed about nails-through-palms; this seems to be the convention in non-porn crux (Otherwise known as western religious art) ;) I would rather see (tightly) roped wrists than misplaced nails..

I feel the same way about condoms. I prefer condoms are use in all commercial porn, as a worker-safety issue, but it definitely looks out of place in historical settings. I saw a porn video once of a Mistress-of-the-house using her slave for sex in the old US South. I was glad to see the (all to rare in hetero porn) condom, but it was slightly jarring. I think good CGI in the future will be cheap enough that porn studios will regularly use it to deal with issues like these.

If they tie with rope and then nail the hands as well, that's the only exception to the nails-in-the-hand thing.

Rope crux still works for me, especially if it's a photo/video of a real person, but in artwork nailing is my preference.

Workmans-safety first ! :lol:

But amazingly and according to wikipedia first rubber condoms became available in 1855 ! But the material was about 2mm thick, probably not very pleasuring.
