Four young seamstresses from a clothing combinate are severely punished for participating in the workers' uprising in the GDR on June 17, 1953. First they are tied up completely naked and raised to the ceiling, then brutally beaten with fists by a Genosse of the "Uniformed Stasi". Later they are whipped bloody with a bull whip by the Genossin Polit-Kommissar.
The young woman in the foreground is later executed by shooting, the three in the background are sentenced to 10 years of aggravated labor camp.
The Genossin Polit-Kommissar says to the Genosse soldier:
"You've knocked this imperialist whore soft enough now. From now on, I'll take over. Let's see if she can survive 100 lashes with the bull whip. It doesn't really matter. She is one of the main agitators of the uprising and will be shot anyway. Beat the hell out of the other agitators. I want to hear the ribs crack. So, carry out my order promptly Genosse!"
