When I chose my new 'kajira' avatar, there were lots of nice comments,
so I started a thread where we could share our favourite fantasy-pics
by the great Boris Vallejo (and perhaps others in the same spirit).
Sadly, that thread got gobbled up in the dreadful crash in the summer,
so here are some well-known Vallejos, mainly on Gorean themes,
to start us sensuous slavegirls and muscular Masters dreaming again ....

Barbaria is getting a bit annoyed with this continually being brought up

Tree

...by the way, I'm listening to Warren Zevon's "Accidentally Like a Martyr"... you may like it, Eul

Those images are quite beautiful Eulalia, and now that I know where your avatar came from I understand why it is so outstanding.

I can't remember if I ever posted this image before or not. It is a larger version of my old avatar, the male character is a reasonable facsimile of myself. I thought this might fit in even though it is not by Boris, it is definitely a fantasy.

Eulalia, great post, I love the works of Boris Vallejo and his wife Julie Bell. Each year for many years, I would get their calendars, so I would have the artwork on the wall.

Very nice Eul..good to c all in one place..my most favourite are ur avatir pic and the standing girl wz green pentie b4 the sitting general..:) it 's like he said" What else can u do my rebel slave gal" ;)

BV is my favorite and enviable artist.
I remember, in the secondary school my friend: Attila could draw well; he made also fantasy sketches.

Studies in Cruciform 2.158
If I may make a contribution:
Robert Bishop's work is predominantly B&D,
but the Slave leitmotif was always present
along with the occasional cruciform.

Certainly his artwork was a bizarre style unto itself:

Here are a couple of sets from the hundreds of images
he produced before his tragic suicide:

Bishop also had an elusive, wicked sense of humour.
See # 10 - a sly dig at Classicism with a
20th century BDSM version of Andromeda.

(I like to think he had our Principessa E in mind when he drew it.)

Thanks Sympa - new to me, a very individual draughtsman style.
On the whole, I like slavegirls looking a bit happier than most of his are,
or at least playing the role more proactively,
but there are some very fine ones -

Tree doesn't do draughts, he prefers bottles...

Handle it with care;).
(I also like drinks (beer, a glass of good Hungarian wine, pálinka (this is a traditional Hungarian drink)), but only on occasion.)
I have to confess to a preference for BV's
black and white sketches, but I'll take Color or B&W
of his wife/model/co-artist Julie Bell (3-10)
Damn!
Ain't love grand?
