The whipping scene in Benished was a disappointment. The whipping post, with its numerous iron rings to hold the hands, was realistic, yet the prisoner was whipped fully clothed. In England and its dependencies and colonies, anyone, male or female , who was sentenced to be whipped would have been stripped to the waist or, as judges would intone, "naked from the girdle up."

Hard to say how long the actress walked like this on the set, but in the plot it's definitely a long and painful trip -- she gets dragged from one Russian country estate to a neighbouring estate, which must be at least several miles. If you want to watch the scene yourself, it starts at 37:36 min in Episode 24 and continues to the end of the episode at 45:42 min, just over eight minutes long:
And yes, she is definitely barefoot: the scene starts with Evil Lady making Kataryna take off her sturdy leather boots, and we get multiple shots of her bare feet getting progressively dirtier and bloodier.

Let's see...bare footed, bare backed, bare to the waist...yeah, this film didn't quite reach its potential. All of these lovely Russian maidens would have looked quite fetching secured to the whipping post stripped naked to the waist... IMHO.

Man, I know there are plenty of girls in Love Camp 7, but Maria Lease fucking made that film!
I know Amber is deservedly treated as a Goddess among us cultured individuals, but can I just say two things:
1. These clips and her countless tortured pictures convinced me that, no matter how tough you think she was, I believe she was even tougher than you could possibly imagine.
2. That second clip was a thing of beauty: the police siren blaring on the background gave off a "so close yet so far" vibe, as if the cops unknowingly missed out on a nude damsel in literal distress, and, with both eyes seemingly closed, her receiving those hits without much screaming before the first sign of entry to her womanhood immediately noticed her of a more pleasurable time ahead and you could feel her becoming less and less tense. Just beautiful!
Do we know the name of the actress playing Kataryna? She's a fucking trooper!

It's Katerina Kovalchyk (or Kovalczuk, depending on the transliteration) Her IMDb page has a demo reel and a gallery. If you want to see more of her back to imagine a nude flogging, there are a few artsy semi-nudes and back shots online -- for all I know she may have done nude frontal photo shoots as well, but I didn't look all that deeply. Some nice pictures, though:
And no, that scene with her character tied up in a wedding dress doesn't actually happen in the show -- it's just for the poster shoot.
