It's interesting what you say, Dismasdolben. I had a catholic youth, but now I'm an atheist. Still I like some religious feelings in my fantasies, which are almost allways on crucifixion. I like to imagine being a martyr sacrified for God, or some mystical ritual. I still recall those old paintings where a saint was tortured and he looked up in the sky where God already stretched out his hands. So as a young boy I had the idea God loved to see you suffer to death for him (otherwise he would simply have stopped the torturers, wouldn't he) and somehow that fitted nicely in my bdsm fantasy. And to me, God, with his beautiful white beard was a hunk :)

As you may have noted from my stories and my avatar, I struggled a lot about 'virile' god recently. It seems rather certain that our king underwent tremendous also sexual oriented perversions. Surely he was exposed nude, probably penetrated at cross, raped by the soldiers..... I am thinking of symbolically working that out

I wonder if you know that, at the end of his chapter on the crucifixion, in his book "Man of Nazareth," Anthony Burgess has Jesus ejaculate on the cross, as he's dying. Burgess apparently paid attention to the idea that the asphyxiation of crucifixion might have the same "death erection" effect as hanging does.
In any case, man, I really want to be crucified alongside you some day!

OK, but part of my reason for bringing this discussion onto this part of the forum was to elicit interest in an actual crucifixion scene, involving a whole group. It would seem that, even though this HAS attracted a whole lot of attention, most here are not enthusiastic about such a project, so I will expand the readership of my earlier posting, which WAS in the "letters" section, and stop making that proposal here.
