More a question to the admins than a question for artists. If you think other members will be interested, why not start a thread “my 3D wife” or something*. I do hope there will be at least SOME bdsm content though! Vanilla porn is so dull!

* if you don’t know whether people would be interested or not, do it as a poll. You can ask “ here are a couple of pics we’ve made so far, do you want to see more? Yes/no”
Yes, that would be a good approach, much better than posting images based on identifiable people in the public threads. One or more of us staff would want to join, not to interfere, but to help where necessary, and ensure so far as we can that the content is genuinely 'consensual'.

Thanks to you all for the follow up. Here's the start to the posting. www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/my-wife-in-3d.9888/

Comments, advice, critique is welcome.

Normal frustrations. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach. Or, more appropriately, my imagination is always bigger than my time and talent.

Why do I always want to start long, story-filled projects? I've got a few large, complicated drawings done, but I'm hesitant to show them. They really only make sense in the context of the larger story. And I started somewhere in the middle. And I keep wanting to change what I've already done, to match a better character design, or reformat a frame to better fit a new layout.

I should remember that I promised myself that I would start doing simple. I so enjoy over-complicating things.
And, of course, this is as my business busy season is getting started, and I should be focusing on more mundane things...like making money and repairs.

Actually, I may do a variant of a large, artsy pic, and redo it into smaller frames. I could then post them in this thread, and ask for opinions and advice.

But, it really should wait until next week. I am currently putting off several work related projects and packing for a weekend trip.

I'll mull over some ideas.
I'm still not sure if I should start posting a story that I'll likely never actually finish.

I know how you feel, it’s hard to have the energy and the time and the inspiration all in the same moment. Maybe we should switch to A.I. then we could relax! (JOKE) ;)
Heh. Six fingered slave-girls aren't really my kink.

Commented here by mistake. Classic.

The perfect is the enemy of the good.

Even if it turns out not everybody will be able to see the whole story captured in one frame, one person will: you!

So, after even more revisions, here is one of the original panels. It's a nice layout, I think. But, it's also busy, and is very large, which means lots of bandwidth.

Whereas, I could break it up into three smaller images, which would reduce individual file size, and allow me to revise individual images easier. Not every pic would be the same size, but I'm not that concerned with that aspect.

I think I am leaning more towards the second option. It would mean changing a couple that I've already done, but would make future installments of the series easier.
What do you guys think?

Shoving them all together like in the first image is visually confusing. Not saying it couldn’t work .. but the individual panels communicate better

When lacking inspiration I normally take an old 3D scene and play around with it.
Or have a look at other people work and focus on one that catches me,
First replicate as much as possible then try to make it better and make it my own.
Changing point of view can do so much sometimes for a scene.
Making a series of something is to keep busy with your craft/skill/art

Just find a way to get inspired:)

Not reaching your goals? Not everything is easy to master.
Mastery takes a lot of time..
Things I heard some of my mentors say about skills.
"First 1,000 Hours is the time of apprenticeship, but it takes 10,000 hours to master."

Inspiration sometimes comes at the most awkward times. be sure to record it ASAP.
Sketch/ make a note/ etc, so when the moment comes you have time you can recall it.
I agree, but in reality one is constantly learning.
I keep finding inspiration and improving my skills.

when it comes to inspiration, I look at some beautiful erotic porn (preferably with bdsm elements) and I immediately have inspiration.

Artist asked me if I wanted to change anything. Am I missing something?
