@montycrusto 's wonderful illustration for my 'Andromeda's Challenge'

Come on boy, I’m stripped for you - skin against scales –
We both know you’ll win, but I’ll put up a fight!
You can delight in your dainty treat’s death-dance,
My can-can to keep clear of your cruel Kraken-bite!

If you lunge at my loins, lithe and lissom I’ll leap,
With a hurl of my hips I’ll be no easy meat,
Slick, sleek and slith’ry, I’ll slip through your slug-slime –
Though bare and in bondage, I’m not ‘ready-to-eat’!

Twisting and twirling, I’ll try hard to trick you –
Tease you and tantalise. Enjoy your prey-play!
Toss me in my tight irons! Taste me with your tongue-tip!
Tear me with your talons – I can’t get away!

Still I’ll skip and cavort as you snack on my leg-meat,
As you relish my raw rump, I’ll wriggle and writhe -
Sinuous and supple, I’ll squirm and I’ll struggle
Till I’m crushed in your coils, while you eat me alive!

Then, when I’m weary, you can gorge on my girl-parts,
While you gnaw at my breasts there’ll be life in them yet!
As I feel your fangs finding their way through my sweet sex
I’ll feed you a feast you won’t ever forget!

Obviously, Perseus was late.

I once saw a gif which featured a chained damsel in distress being eaten by a dragon. Alas and dammit, this GoT takeoff was the closest I could find. :rolleyes:367EADF4-BE12-4B83-AFE3-3B9D0C7380C5.gif

I'm overwhelmed by this thread and it's collection of drawings, poetry and photomanips - especially by the wonderful works by @Madiosi .
It's really another league compared with one of my first clumsy attempts at photomontage in 1995: a scanned picture of the Turkish seaside from a magazine with an autochthonic rock turned into the head of the monster; the lady was a scan from a Playboy magazine, as far as I remember.

I don't know, this one looks pretty darned good to me. I wouldn't call it a clumsy attempt at all. Very nice work Imo.

20 years difference brought us very much better tools for doing such things.

@Arcimboldo @montycrusto

I love seeing lesser used geological terms employed on this amazing kink site! It almost feels like it justifies the 4 years I spent gaining my degree (and didn’t work in the field past 6 months thanks to an inconveniently timed recession)

whstvan outstanding thread, very glad it’s been resurrected
Of course the geological concept we mostly wish to apply to @Eulalia is Steno’s Principle of Horizontality :p :fuck:

Actually this is likely more true to the original myth, see this from Wkipedia and ancient images from 1st centuary CE or before:
(In the last one below, the monster is dead and Perseus is showing the reflection of Medusa in a pool of water, Andromeda has slipped her long gown from her shoulders, or maybe the monster did, so she can get cosy with the nude Perseus.)

Drawing Andromeda...

Today, after almost two years, I picked up pencil and paper again ... I wanted draw a figure inspired by Andromeda myth (or Ariosto's Angelica...)
Sorry I missed this when it was first posted, it is very lovely, an expression that's intense, fearful yet in some strange way happy.
The cross on her necklace would indicate that this is Angelica.
I think it might be a slightly variant ankh. But Andromeda with a cross suits this girl fine!
Actually this is likely more true to the original myth,
I agree, and (as often) having a scanty covering blowing in the gale adds drama and vigour to her movements, for me it's all the more erotic.
ancient images from 1st century CE or before:
That's a nice little collection. #3 interests me, the writing is right to left - early Greek, like its Phoenician parent, was written r-l, and that pot is dated 575-550 BC, so from that early period. #6 is lovely, a really romantic piece of art - from Pompeii, I wasn't surprised to find.
