Black Lagoon is one of the five series I would recommend to someone who isn't into anime. There are no supernatural monsters, kids with magical powers or giant robots. Just a whole lot of over the top action and chicks with guns.

If anyone is curious, the list is:
1) Cowboy Bebop
2) Black Lagoon
3) Monster
4) Samurai Champloo
5) Death Note
