Frustration about feedback for original creations is a recurring topic on boards like this. Always been so always will be.
Running off because you didn't get a lame badge is not a great move but then again ... artist personalities ... enough said
As far as I understand having a "special title" does not give you any superior forum permissions (moderator abilities, getting your posts more visible, being able to post more/larger images).
So beyond vanity who effing cares?
It's raw numbers so the easiest way to get there is just repost random porn, and maybe follow a few popular episodic stories that go on forever and always post "Great chapter! SO HOT!!!" every time.
Who cares so long as we all remain aware that it is simply a measure of how much you mash the post button.
I am a low engagement user because I mostly post original art, swap a few comments and Q&A, and then I'll drift away again. I don't really use CF as a social network. Why on earth would I need a vanity plate?
There is an issue with too much random image posting and pornspam.
As for the artwork and stories, well some images are guilty of "repeating the same few poses over and over."
Some stories do it too ... the same clichéd characters, the same canned phrases over and over again.
It's called Sturgeon's law, 90% of everything is crap.
Some of the work on here though is superb and that goes for artwork as well as stories.
I have proposed reserving a special section for original art work as opposed to re-posts and some people liked that idea, but it never got implemented.
I support that. It might have downsides such as additional effort for moderators, or fragmenting the forum if it's a closed area.
But it would improve signal to noise ratio and might get some people to engage more who otherwise can't be bothered.
Things being as they are, for those who don't spend hours and hours on the forum wading through all the threads, I think crowdsourced content curation is a good idea.
Which is why I am a fan of threads like these...
There are hundreds of stories in the forum, and I guess few of you have read them all. So, as a source of inspiration for the rest, can you share with us your personal selection? Let's say, your three favorite stories. The stories that you like most, those stories that you read over and over...

Perhaps Barb and Siss never stole your Firebird... Wanna bet? ...

- for creators to plug what they consider the ONE favourite piece of their own work. If you do art and stories, one per genre.
It's been a while since we've had one of these threads. I do like reading back through "The Agony Component" or "Your Favorite Artists" every once in a while, so I figured I create a picture collection thread in that genre. What are your favorite pieces of crucifixion artwork? Pick your top five...

- five favourites, and I'm sure Emily won't execute you if the subject matter is outside the crux genre.
Especially the first of these has pointed me n the direction of some new discoveries which might also be new inspirations for artwork.
