Japanese Crucifixion

You're correct. In Japanese crucifixion (haritsuke) the cross is used to display the condemned before they are killed by spear thrust. The thrust is usually through both sides of the chest, penetrating both lungs and resulting in death within seconds, or instantly if the heart if penetrated. The body is then left on display for up to three days.

Males usually were crucified on a two armed cross with their feet spread apart. Woman were crucified on a single arm cross with their legs tied together, although, especially with Christian women, their breast were exposed.

Thank you very much for sharing. And I remember in some description, there would be a rake to take down the condemned's head, which I remember, in Chinese character, is called "熊手". That makes the death more rapid and thorough.

2. Tsukuyomi, Crucifixion 2068

The story takes place in an alternate timeline where the events of Kamen Rider Zi-O never occur:

It is the year 2068, the world was turned into an apocalyptic wasteland due to the actions of the tyrant known as Ohma Zi-O, the worst, most despicable overlord of time who ruled the world with an iron fist. Standing in his way are a group of rebels who tries to destroy him and end his reign. One of them is Tsukuyomi, a girl with a mysterious past who was raised by the rebel army to fight alongside them.

However, one day, a man named Woz joined the rebel army and became their captain as he informed the group of how to defeat Ohma Zi-O. Woz enist both Tsukuyomi and Geiz Myokoin, one of the rebel's best fighters, on an espionage mission to Ohma Zi-O's base. After arriving inside the enemy base, they realized something strange in their infitration as they were too late to realize that they've been surrounded by a group of robotic soldiers clad in gold called the "Kasshine". As they fight off the Kasshines, Ohma Zi-O arrives as he struck the blow on Geiz, with Woz grabbing Tsukuyomi before he shows his true allegiance to Ohma Zi-O as his loyal herald, which causes Geiz snapped in a blind rage upon the revelation before he was stabbed in the back by the Kasshines, leading to his death.

After Tsukuyomi was put in her torture chamber, she demands Woz some answers, only to rebuffed her without a singe answer because he and his overlord knew that she might be a crucial point to his lord's reign, before he orders the Kasshines to torture her. For many hours, Tsukuyomi was strucked with numerous whip lashes from the Kasshines, then her clothes were completely torn off due to the lashes she recieved, after than she was forced to worn the golden crown of thorns in her head which was materialized by Ohma Zi-O causing her head to bleed around her face before she was sent to her execution site via Ohma Zi-O's teleportation powers.

As Tsukuyomi arrives in her execution site, lying on the ground in her weakened state, Ohma Zi-O appears before her as he orders the Kasshines, who guarded her cross on the spot, to put Tsukuyomi on her cross. As she was pinned on the cross, Ohma Zi-O uses his powers to create golden chains to bind both her wrists on the horizontal beam before the Kasshines nailed her wrists, causing her to shout in immerse pain, then he creates a golden cornu around the middle of the vertical beam as the Kasshines pulling her legs and managed to insert her vagina into the cornu with Ohma Zi-O secures both her legs with chains and the Kasshines strucks two more nails to her feet before they raised her crucified body after Ohma Zi-O uses his powers to inscribe the words on the titulus "Tsukuyomi, Rebel" in Japanese.

For many hours, Tsukuyomi is suffering from her excruciating pain on the cross due to the wounds inflicted by her tormentors. As the rebel army arrives in an attemt to save her, Ohma Zi-O easily obliterates the entire army charging at him, with a crucified Tsukuyomi watches & screamed in horror upon their death before she finally succumbs to he own death with her last words "Geiz, everyone, I'm sorry".

After Tsukuyomi dies on the cross, Ohma Zi-O teleported her crucified corpse to a ghetto camp to show it to the people he enslaved as an example for those who tries to defy him as their king, causing them to cry in despair upon Tsukuyomi's death and the terrifying reign that they might never escape for the rest of their lives.

I love it :)

Japanese crucifixion Roman crucifixion Difference

The Japanese crucifixion is humane in that it does not involve nailing or stripping the sinner naked. However, the Roman crucifixion is extremely cruel, as it strips the sinner naked and nails the sinner's hands and feet, what do you think?
