OK, another 'graphical story' with my favorite heroine, a certain Kahlan Amnell that travels the land and rights the wrongs. In one episode she's pissing off a local royalty that unceremoniously throws her in the dungeon where she's saved by the other do-gooder from the cast. Boring, I said to myself. Being a perverted mind, I'm starting thinking about how I'd make the episode more interesting. Here's this fantasy.
Amnell, in tattered clothes is informed by the dungeon master that she'll be receive 30 lashes on her back while in stocks as the first part of her punishment.
Stoically supressing her screams, she's counting the strokes, hoping that the burly executioner was schooled enough to accurately count to 30. After carrying the sentence she's removed from the stocks and allowed a few minutes to clear her foggy mind.
"Put her on the rack" said the master torturer to his assistant. "Nooo, I've been punished already" screams Kahlen in hysteric desperation. "Oh, no, my dear, that was only the warming up". "His Majesty will want to enjoy your charms and He was very specifical that we don't ruin the front view of you." A short dirty rag is thrown over her in a mocking manner.
With a couple of turns of the wheel her body has been stretched to the point that her back was barely touching the wooden surface of the rack.
At this point, the mightly ruler of the land makes his entrance and position himself on top of a stretched prisoner, covering himself with a larger piece of cloth. Low-borns are not supposed to watched (and make fun) of the endowement of their king. At all this time he's careful not to lean against the painfully racked body of Kahlan.
Closer to the finish, the king wants a bit of ooomph so his torturers, well-rehearsed into his peculiarities, tighten her a bit extra while the King is letting himself relax over Kahlan, making her scream in pain when his weight goes on top of her.
Satisfied, the King get dressed and prepare to leave the room. After letting the wheels go a bit, Kahlan is able to speak again and asks the departing King if he's mercifully enough to order her released. "Your punishment is not complete" comes the answer. " I only raped you now, when you're stil looking good but that's not gonna last cuz I've told my boys to play The Harp on you". "No one will want to fuck you after you'll sing under The Harp" continued him menacing.
Still uncomfortably racked Kahlan looks at the two long pieces of wood being attached to the sides of the rack. Little knobs are dotting the length of the wood.
Strings of rubber are stretched between knobs, pressing hard against her breasts, legs, arms and calves. The horror of The Harp, is starting to dawn on her.
After a few hours of 'playing' the Harp, accompanied by the gutural screams, her nipples are all bloodied and angry red welts are criss-crossing her entire body.

Rubber was introduced to Europe in the 1700s, I think you are thinking of vulcanised rubber, which is much more useful. Nevertheless, there were other elastics. I think it would be possible, but I would have to change the design, replacing the bands with strings or elastic leather bands, and the knobs with wood planks; a series of tiny crossbows, essentially.

I think your photo manips (is that the right term?) are quite good, and the perils are inventive (e.g. "the harp" above, and Buffy's crew all getting their feet roasted.)
