Well, I understand your reservations about crucifixion. It can be very final, but personally I like the torture of it, not the execution. That’s why they’ll always be a place for ropes! And, you can just take the women off of their crosses and string them up by their nail-holes if you want to torture them instead of kill.

Yes, the good parts are everything up to the dying ... that for me is anticlimactic and not very interesting.

you should have received a 'welcome pack' that includes our rules - we're pretty broad-minded and grown up,
as you say, no kids (our service provider, XenForo, who are generally very liberal, are strict about this

Thanks, that was a major concern to me as I'm rather partial to cruxes and didn't want to go off-topic. Since I'm only interested in fantasies most of the other things you mentioned (snuff, unsafe practices) are not going to apply.

Well, we, the sadists are a small minority. Most of the people are for extracting informations. The inquisitors were genuinely trying to save the souls of the condemned. So chances that the Emperor was into sadism are rather slim. He had a harem with who to entertain vanila sex. All this interogation business with whips and red hot pokers was messy and foul smelling. He understood the necessity of it, the state affair requires it but the sooner he had what he needed, the better.

Gotta play the game or read the Andrzej Sapkowski's books to understand the mindset of all the characters involved. It's ... complicated. :kiss: While he was not a sadist, he was a firm believer into judicial terror ... a suspected female thief was about to be publicly impaled while her ass was burned with red hot irons. As I said, there's a clear Universe in my head when making them. Not the usual generic innocent looking blonde (btw, Ciri's hair is ashen-grey, not blonde) being tortured for the sake of it.
