Malwarebytes.org

Go to CruxDreams.com
It was recently reported that some messages from members contained hyperlinks. There was a suggestion that the site may be infected..this is WRONG. If you see hyperlinks in messages then you need to remove the malware from YOUR computer. The good news is that it is a very simple process.
Example..Firefox

Go to
Tools>Add Ons>Extensions>Text Enhance

If you see something like Bcool 1.0 then click Remove
As simple as that. You don't need to run antivrus etc to get rid of it. For a full explanation and list then visit

I work in IT as a profession. I highly recommend www.malwarebytes.org to remove most if not all malware and spyware!

Hi,
I was talking about Add-ons which are often unwelcome guests in browsers such as Firefox. Before deleting the BCool 1.0 add-on I ran Spybot which did not recognise it as malelovant. Are you 100% certain that malwarebytes would recognise such malware.

Try it Hon, what do you have to loose? I won't purposely infect myself! It's important to realize that malwarebytes is updated daily, so unless you pay them, do it manualy then scan.......
Btw, an anti-virus program does NOT protect against malware! I wish they did! The best I've found is AVG! Mcafee and Norton are worthless in my opinion!

I am a bit less enthusiastic about AVG, I am using Avira (free) and Kasperski for Anti-virus protection.
This may be an interesting read:

Malware side either Avira Pro and/or malwarebytes.

The main security leak I am seeing on most home-PC's is the lack of scheduled (daily) system scans!
And yes, updating is important, but that should be scheduled as a daily (at least) task as well.

I disagree Fantasmo, in the current internet environment, daily updates are required!
Oh wait...we agreed....never mind!
