... if this is part of a 're-education' to reduce her carbon footprint, perhaps the opposite

but, try to see things from her perspective ...
... the most important thing is that you act as a responsible vegetarian.

So you can tickle her with the forks,
and if, entirely accidentally, you knock over some of the candles and spill some hot wax over her,
you can scrape that away with the knives,
(I can guess what you'd be doing with the knife handles)
but just resist all temptation, at this feast, to 'stab it with the steely knives' ...
