Odds And Ends And Anything You Fancy

The modern generation don't realise how we oldsters suffered back then.
Having to try to watch Pans People on a blurry black & white TV, with Mum and Dad in the room, and Dad saying "How much longer do you want to watch this rubbish, son?"
I still wonder if this question was his way of deflecting his interest in the girls away from my mother?
This is so very true, OS. We are so much more fortunate than our parents insofar as the teenagers today don't watch their "rubbish" on the telly, but stream it on their own computers through headphones. So much more civilized. Now it's the teenagers that have to put up with me still playing Led Zeppelin on the stereo in my living room. I get the criticism from below now - "Dad, do we have to listen to this again?" :D

If this isn't odd, nothing is. The Finnish National Opera and Ballet adapting Mozart's delightful comic opera "Così fan tutte" ('So do all women,' referring to unfaithful girlfriends) into a study of Finland's experience with the Pandemic.

I see the female is a mystery for us males! I added a pic, which makes more sense to me. :hydrogen::hydrogen::hydrogen::hydrogen:View attachment 928020
Now that's the right way to do things. After all, most of us live in nice warm homes and clothes are not really necessary :p

Two Years ago at Balmoral. I wonder if we are ever to see it again with Elizabeth.

It must be said that Shetland Pony Cpl Cruachan IV (note his medals) stole the show. What a fantastic haircut!

Note how the pony was gently backed so its magnificent tail concealed the ill-timed discharge -
naughty Cruachan, you're not supposed to be a Shitland pony! :p

This incredible artist, Nikolaj Arndt, “chalks” drawings on a flat surface in such a manner so as to give them three dimensions! He was born in a remote area of Russia in 1975, attended art school, moved to Germany in 2006, and since 2009 participates in street art festivals around the world, applying his special technique of 3D art. Enjoy!
