Odds And Ends And Anything You Fancy

Now, I personally find this extremely funny - a new children's show about a man, John Dillermand (which would translate into American Englsh as John Wienerman, or John Dickman, and into UK English simply as Johnson, I believe :D ), who has the world's longest penis. Apparently it both gets him into and out of trouble. Sounds fairly realistic there anyway.

Another first for Denmark. :thumbup::confused::rolleyes::D

I would tend towards 'grey needle', but, of the four, 'green needle' (definitely not hearing the word 'storm').
Actually I end up hearing any of the four if I prime myself by thinking of it before.
But if I think of any other combination of syllables, even reasonably similar ones, I default to brainstorm, and that was also the one I heard first.
(it's a bit like the yanny/laurel thing)

Enter one John Dillermand - a kids' show about a man with a giant prehensile penis...
Yeah, that's correct. This really exists. Here, Kneon and Geeky Sparkles from the always-entertaining Clownfish TV break it down for our puerile amusement :D

Slightly disappointed that neither Kneon or Geeky picked up on the use of the word "blowback" rather than "backlash" in the CNN article

I see what you mean! If I think the word 'brainstorm' as it plays, that's what I hear. If I think 'green needle', I hear an extra syllable! Perception is a strange thing........

It's crazy, the more you hear it, it could be something different each time. {Who is doing illegal brain experiments with us here?
I think it is actually 'supposed' to say one specific word because it's originally a 'speaking toy' ...
(if you google it you can find out which ...)

what's fascinating is that our brain mostly tends to reject the ambiguity and decides to 'hear' one definite word each time, even though that can change with every attempt. But very few people seem to say "I just couldn't understand it."

That is food for thought when you imagine the situation where you were hearing (or otherwise perceiving) something in a low fidelity situation once ... and later on you need to give a "witness statement". You might have definitely "heard" a certain word without any attempt of falsification or lying. Now, under oath, are you absolutely sure he said "BRAIN NEEDLE"?

Do you think I should maybe make an aluminum hat very quickly?
Tinfoil won't help, because the problem is inside the brain ... defenses are already breached!

Oh that's a problem, where is the reset button of my brain? I have to push it right away

Geekish factoid - I believe whales (at least some species) are the only mammals with prehensile penises -
I suppose when copulating at sea, it's necessary for him to hang on to her! :D

I understand that the male octopus has the equivalent of its penis at the end on one of its arms - and I'm thinking it has eight arms but only one penis? That's just nature being a cheapskate if it can only have sex with one arm!

Having said that, it seems that Japanese porn producers didn't get that memo :p

Well, us human males only have one penis; but, we have ten fingers and a tongue. Do you really want us to limit ourselves?
