And Flashdance - What a feeling!
I always liked her the best... Sad loss...Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac has died at 79. Don't stop thinking about tomorrow...
Christine McVie was always my favorite too. Her voice just melted me. Thank you Ms Perfect for the great moments you gave us.Yes, we all thought Stevie Nicks was hot. But, to this college boy, Christine McVie was more talented and beautiful in her own way. And why not, she was Christine Perfect after all.
I agree. In my own opinion, I always prefered Christine's voice to Stevie Nicks. I think that Stevie got more recognition because she was up front, whereas Christine, even when singing was in the background behind her instrument. I don't think that Christine received the recognition she deserved. And yes, she was a beautiful lady, and seemingly never seeking the spotlight. Farewell, you and your voice will always be in my heart.Yes, we all thought Stevie Nicks was hot. But, to this college boy, Christine McVie was more talented and beautiful in her own way. And why not, she was Christine Perfect after all.
Rebellin was a specialist in the Ardennes classics. He is one of the four to win the Fleche Walonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege in the same year, and one of the two who also won the Amstel Gold Race (in 2004; all in the same week).Davide Rebellin (1971-2022), a famous Italian cyclist, died today after he was struck by a truck while training near Vicenza. R.I.P.
I hate to hear that. For me she was a "local girl" ... originally from Wichita Kansas. Sad to see her go.Dammit! Kirstie Alley has checked out at 71.
I wished she had stuck with the Star Trek franchise, but it was her career, not my incipient sexual fixation on Saavik.
