There are some superb pictures and photo manipulations on the site , then again there is a lot of rubbish .
But my main gripe is that the pictures show ladies with immaculate hair , lipstick and in some cases they look
as if they had just jumped out of the shower.
Also they are mostly smiling and laughing, they have been crucified or impailed , a gruesome death if ever there was one .
So facial expressions would be far from laughing , screaming in pain , or just resigned to the investable , would be the norm !
Sullum and with the head drooping .and tears in their eyes .impailing them selves and unable to get up due
to exhaustion ,
The bodies arching or moving to get off the impairment ,
The bodies should be covered in sweat and dirty , not ultra clean
Then there is the issue of the ladies themselves. Super fit ultra slim and ready for a marathon .
Instead of the plain Jane , dirty and over weight there would be .

If you are going to put a drawing on here , can you at least do it properly
Make an effort and plan what you draw .
They the drawings are for the most part rubbish and should be removed .
Please , please remember what the subject matter is for the site ?

I think you have to let artists (and writers!) follow their inspiration wherever it leads; if that means lipstick and beautifully coiffed hair, then so be it. That’s their choice to make. If you don’t like it, make your own art.. or commission an artist to work to your specifications.

Some drawings here may be of variable quality as people have to start somewhere; they need encouragement, not negativity. It takes courage sometimes, to show your creative work to strangers, especially for beginners. Constructive suggestions are one thing, saying “this is awful!” (a comment I got recently) is destructive and leads nowhere.

In short, creativity is fragile! As W.B.Yeats said, “Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams”.

Point accepted and my apologies to those who took exception to what I said .
They are my views and I stick by them .
I will not comment any further on any other item on the site if that is what you want,
You have silenced a critique and a believer in the whole site .
Criticism is needed if you want the site to grow ,not be stifled as you have done

Criticism cuts two ways. I could sound out on some of what I have read and seen on this site but I don't.
One, peoples taste differ so I just ignore what I don't like.
An two, most of the posters are much more talented then me!

I was always taught in the few management seminars that I attended that you want to offer specific examples when you review people's work. general statements are of little utility. Can you show a few pics that you like and a few that you don't? And I hesitate to ask your opinion of the stories here :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Thank you.
Yes I will go through the site pictures and sort some thing out
The stories on the whole are superb pieces of work well written and brilliant English
Some of the minds of the writers , well wow love it just love it .
It’s a very specialised site dealing with a subject close to my heart.
You have to have a particular mindset to like it and have the nerve to join

Your point is valid, Adrian. Many images do show beautiful models, for the simple reason that beautiful and fit models tend to be the ones that pose for pictures, and they are frequently adorned with jewellery, tattoos, lipstick and immaculate hairdos which further complicate the job of a photomanip artist. If you are careful you can change an expression, but it is not easy.

You make me review some of my stuff. Here's a terrible one of Katya Clover, it was a bit tongue in cheek, but mea culpa, you're right, it should be deleted from the site!

Katya Crucified with Barb.jpg

She's a happy soul, is Katty, it's hard to find images of her where she isn't smiling, and she's undeniably fit and beautiful (but there may have been few overweight slave girls about and few that got old...)

So I tried harder, here's one where she seems to be having a less good day.

Jas440.jpg

If I said that the second took a good deal more time and trouble than the first, I'm sure you'd believe me.

So there you go, I shall put those up for you to tell me whether or not to delete them. ;)

Wow , she is a stunner .
My view of the pictures ,delete them
The first one looks totally out of place , what figure though , sets my pulse racing that does
But it’s artistic in a funny sort of way
The second one , delete the whole lot .
It’s totally spoilt having the bubbles !
If you want me to help in the presentation of the pictures , I will .
Just tell me what you want me to do
Re the essays , I cannot even start to analyse those , they are on the whole superb pieces of work
Brilliant creative minds the writers have in my view

I doubt you are criticizing any one person directly. But still, I’m compelled to let you know that it is a much more rewarding path to make your own art of the sweaty agonized women you want to see rather than bemoan artists not making work to your tastes.

I think you have made something of a false dichotomy, between realistic art and sexy art. I like drawing both sexy women and plain Janes on the cross. Sometimes they are one and the same. But I don’t like people policing my art, telling me to make them less sexy, that’s not the point of why I made it. I absolutely adore long sexy hair, and it features frequently in my art, regardless of whether it is realistic or not.

I was going to approach your criticism in good faith, but it’s clear to me to you want art deleted according to your own specific tastes; unfortunately that puts us directly in opposition. People have been trying to remove my art from the internet for years, because it offended their sensibilities or because they thought that it was something that I shouldn’t depict, and they took it upon themselves to be the great moral arbiter of what was and wasn’t acceptable. Perhaps you are not like that, but the end result is the same. This work is shared freely, for your enjoyment. If you want a refund for it, I’ll Venmo you the 0.00$

You must understand that you are criticizing someone’s deepest, most intimate passions. Please, knock it off.

Oh don’t be such a martyr, you gave your views and I gave mine, nobody is trying to “stifle” or “silence” you! Say whatever you want! :p But please don’t call for other people’s work to be deleted just because YOU don’t like it

Basically you are right when you are criticizing supermpdel look-alikes being nailed to crosses with smiling faces. I once was annoyed about all these things, too. That was, when I decided to learn to create art myself and make sceneries after my own taste. I would suggest you to do the same. It`s great fun (but also is addictive, beware!!!!). On the other side I would never suggest to anyone to take down pictures. The creations you see here are fantasies. Not everyone wants to see the real cruel details of a real execution/ crucifixion - not me anyway. Many pictures here are photomontages. So, please respect the effort that was put into the pictures around here. And move your ass and create your own art!

I am not saying other people’s work should be deleted , that’s for the peopl3 running the site to decide not me .
I was and am expressing my views
