There was a storyarc in the early 90's X-Men comics where the team was in Marvel's Savage Land (tropical area hidden in Antarctica with Dinosaurs). One of the most memorable aspects that stuck with comic fans since was the uniform-turned-ragged jungle bikini outfit Rogue rocked in it.

One of my favorite modern comic takes on this topic is Budd Root's "Cavewoman" series, published infrequently from the late 90's to now. The title character is from our time who was sent back in time as a kid to prehistoric times and grew up as a traditional pulp jungle girl among dinosaurs (her body was altered to be superhuman durable, so she can survive things like being caught in a T-Rex's mouth without much damage). The main story is when her entire hometown and everyone in it are also transported to that same time.

I enjoyed it a lot.. it’s just a shame they had to have Lorenza Izzo wear that rather contrived bikini; clearly she should have been naked but.. mainstream movies! I also thought there was a needless amount of political crap in the movie, which seemed infused with loathing for both the indigenous people and the western environmentalists it portrayed.
