The Whipping-Post's an old, familiar friend,
rough against bare breasts, the smell of blood-seeped wood,
the soft creaks and groans that blend with my shrill squeals
as I swing and kick, locked by tight wrist-biting manacles,
clink of the chains, whistle and thwack of the leather -
I'm proud to picked as a symbol of slave-discipline!

Very nice - colour, light, composition, tilted head and expression,
hostile, spiky desert plants and harsh rocks - a major work of crux art I'd say!
I agree. This is lovely (silly word, really, in this context, but...). The render is superb, and the manip is excellent. (Considering your own considerable talent, if I ever get around to doing anything with your image, I think I need to raise my game - expectations will be high)

Did you do the background yourself?

No if you see my page on http://sexecuteme.deviantart.com/ You'll see I used a background from another artist there. The props were created in Photoshop from stuff found online.

BTW - created another more daylight/detailed version with nails moved to wrist by suggestion on another thread :)

The works very well - it may seem a small thing,
but the fact that the two nails aren't (I think) quite in horizontal alignment,
and the blood around them (just enough, realistic without too much gore)
makes different patterns, brings a lively irregularity,
a contrast to the rigid geometry of the cross.
And I've just noticed the snake eyeing the lizards!

Thank you for noticing! That was intentional although I cannot take credit for the lizard :) Also the blood leaking down on my feet I thought it was sexy to have it drip along my toe line.
