The question is I guess ...

... is she one of the priestesses,
who will deliver the Harvest of Souls to the Eater With the Many Arms,

... or is she one of the chosen gifts,
who has been told to go out and leave her settlement,
and bring along what's needed to fulfill the ritual ... and leave behind what's not ...

Looking at just the thumbnail (which is what inspired my previous comment), I went with the first nterpretation.

But opening it up and looking at it for some time (as I sometimes do......) the look in her eyes leads me to the other version.

Which fits in with a series on TDS which has been appealing to me recently by Mobius (I do wish he wouldn't put an ugly watermark across his images! Though I know why he does). The latest one:
