During my occasional studies of human behaviour in all kinds of literature, pictures and videos, I remarked that in the genres mentioned in the title of this thread, women and also often men are wearing rather few clothes although they are often in peril. During the last decades and in my opinion, they are wearing less and less clothes although the perils are increasing
- maybe because of the global warming of our planet Earth, maybe because of increasing allergies against chemical derivates in textiles. I do not really know.
In any case, I welcome this development of good-looking heros of all sexes wearing less clothes during fighting against all kinds of peril and I hope you will do as I do in contributing pictures or links to the topic of this thread.

I start by adding very soft and almost historical pictures of the "traditional questioning" of Princess Leia by using a hovering interrogation robot in the very first Star Wars movie I found in my archive. I was looking for this scene because I remembered it from the book but not from the movie, maybe because the prison cell was so dark that it was not stored in my memory and Darth Vader made the cell even more darker by his presence so that I had to enlighten these pictures a lot:

Thank you for your contributions in advance!

Concerning "historical" pictures: I certainly also accept book covers like this one of which I remember discussions of teachers in my youth if these people were coming from a very hot planet because they were wearing so few clothes (Standard answer to the teachers: Yes, Tatooine is a very hot planet, I think). This book to the movie was the most discussed book in my school class because of the pictures in it and I still have it with the one of these picture I have never seen anywhere later:

Great idea but I would not like to have a wife with so many questions as C-3PO always had, but Ornella Muti really has an attracting - hrm - face with interesting eyes.
In any case, I was right and I really love this French-German cultural TV-station "ARTE", because they are broadcasting so many - hrm - culture in movies of all levels in original length or as director's cuts, so that can record them without costs: This movie "Barbarella" had one of the most "interesting" striptease openings in movie history, only to top in the future by stripteases in real no-gravity-areas. But these damned moving letters were very annoying for me:

Oh yes, I remember Barbarella. It was phantastic silly and erotic at the same time, but also the first movie with a striptease in weightlessness right at the beginning, wasn't it? I just have to look in my archive ...
Indeed.. made quite an impression on a young Montycrusto.. and both Barbarella and Princess Aura in their respective movies get very satisfyingly tied up and tortured, I think that’s important to note.

Yes, but the torture in "Barbarella" is at least once so really "strange" that I do not like it. There are these silly puppets with metal teeth for example but on the other hand, there is this "orgasm piano" which causes interesting face expressions on the victim - mhm - OK, I must admit I like to see such torture:

I know, I have Flash Gordon somewhere in my archive, too. But I do not remember the torture of Princess Aura. Has it also been with such face expressions? Then I have to look in the evening if I can find some scenes. Thank you for the tip! But now, I have to leave for some hours.

..fire up the Orgasmatron!.. :very_hot:

I had a look into my archive and how could I only forget this terrible scene! :shakehead: Yes, "montycrusto", you were absolutely right, Princess Aura was tortured in this movie although I do not really understand how these hands could hold her on the torture table and how she could stay unbroken:

But there are a lot of incredible scenes in this movie, for example the torture of Flash Gordon under the silliest helmet I have ever seen:

Ashampoo_Snap_2019.11.19_22h20m40s_001__ji.jpg

And I must say that these "cruel" scenes are by far the best in this funny movie: The catfight between the Princess and Flash Gordon's girlfriend (am I right?):
Women's Judo with round plush cushions as accessoires in long pastel color dresses - that should be a new Olympic competition and every man on this planet would be in favour of it after seeing this part of the movie although Ornella was hit so hard by one cushion that she really seemed to cry - however the other ladies in this harem obvoiusly really had fun of the fight, too, and I laughed together with them a few minutes ago :

And I am always surprised how many good actors you sometimes can find in such funny movies:

But as we are right now busy with funny dangers in SciFi-Movies: How could Princess Leia ever escape from the danger of becoming deaf after Mel Brooks told us the secret of her hairstyle with the hidden headphones below (?) :

Your wish be my pleasure! ;) This sequence of faces until the machine is set on fire by Jane Fonda and then the silly face of this mad scientist Duran Duran between is so unique that I simply cannot hold back my laughing:

The worst whipping scene ever

There is a book of

I once read parts of it ...

... in the abridged German version of the US-made "Reader's Digest".

In this book he describes how the dictatorship in Argentina came into power, how he was kidnapped because of being editor during the Argentinian dictatorship, tortured and finally released after the USA built up pressure against the Argentinian government.
He mentioned that prisoners like he were sometimes poured with cold water and when they were still wearing clothes becoming wet, the wet torture by electricity is unimaginably worse than without clothes.
