Back in July I was having a PM discussion with mp5stab, hereinafter known as Em, and she said

I think it’s about time to start a new themed thread, agony and obscenity are only part of a more complete whole. Plus, I like to gather all of my inspirational stuff in neat little categories as well.

Which reminded me what first turned me on to crux were Makar's simple, transgressive, insanely erotic photographs of young, pretty women hanging stark naked on crosses.

And of course "forced sex thematics."

All of which still turn me on, and are what a lot the crux addicts come for. But there was once a website called "Der Schönheit des Kreuzigung” (grammar and spelling corrections welcome), about how one of the most savage and degrading means of capital punishment on record was beautiful.

So I’m going to start off with a few easy on the eyes naked ladies

and an invitation to anybody to post here the crux images that turn them on, and share with us the reasons why.

Here’s a little sampling of art that I’ve found myself coming back to, recently.

In order, the authors are: Jimsac, Crumera, Crumera, Hornet1ba, Jucindus, and Noone

Which reminds me of the GIF I told you I’d start this thread with, Em. ;) :babeando:

Great writhing and head lolling...

And you see a bit of how Christina swung her hips; I actually drooled the first time I saw her vid, for which I’m neither proud nor ashamed, it was just a really primal reaction. :babeando:

Nice, but it seems to be speeded up? It would certainly be more aesthetic, indeed erotic,
slowed down - whether or not she really flung herself about like that when the video was shot.

Not speeded up, Eulalia, but she didn’t spend the whole vid in frantic motion.

The Dance inevitably has to slow down and end.

. . .an invitation to anybody to post here the crux images that turn them on, and share with us the reasons why.

Screen Shot 2019-10-01 at 4.36.47 PM.png

This screenshot from Makar's Glamor Crucifixion has all the elements that turn me on:
a shapely, beautiful woman (a must for me--I don't like the overweight or the scrawny populating my fantasies)
a stressed & suffering body, especially visible at the expanding ribs and in such subtleties as the extended, grasping fingers and panting breath
a true hanging and stretching from the cross, her wrists taking most of her weight and her feet flat against the stipes
a slight sheen of real sweat, especially in the armpits (don't know that it's visible here, but it appears in the video) that allows me to imagine her scent
a sense of real pain (even though I know it's probably mostly acting)
finally, all this in a video. The reality of film is so much more exciting: what will the model do next?

Here's a gif from that vid:

I find myself increasingly appreciating crux as a result of this site.

I love this one from above - it's the position of her legs. (And the jucundus where she has lost control of her bladder, also above)

There is also a drawing that was posted somewhere on here in the last six weeks or so that I now can't find. A crucified woman was being finished off by a brutal spear thrust from below.

I’d like to take time to celebrate Yupar's emulations of Baroque period paintings.

Her first one of Gabriel Metsu's Crucifixion adheres to the traditional iconography of the period, and drapes the female figure in a loincloth.

The second and third . . . don’t. :babeando:

Velasquez's instantly recognizable painting is one of the images largely responsible for fixing the image of Christ in the popular imagination as a mostly naked, vaguely effeminate white guy nailed to a cross.

Yupar's emulation is completely naked. Works for me. :babeando:

Thanks Yupar. Lots. ;)

That’s honestly a subgenre more than it is one specific image, but was it this image?
