The False Prophetess

I’m a huge fan of your work: the subtle choices you make are always very interesting and help me imagine what the characters are feeling.

But the fact that her head is turned in the opposite direction draws me in the most. What is she thinking? Is the reality of her imminent nailing causing her to become overcome with fear? Is she looking for a way to loosen the ropes and escape while the guards are distracted? Is she resigned to her fate and just turning her head away from her executioners out of desperation? If she was facing the“camera” most of those possibilities wouldn’t be available and we would know exactly what her state is. I like having to use my imagination!

The most realistic crucifixion comic since many years - and I have much of them!!! Brutal, heartless, without mercy. The soldiers get fast to the point of nailing and hoisting the victims. Stupid obeying oders. The victims have no time of thinking about what is happening to them. No sexual aspects here. I really love it so far.
