I should mention that this set is from "Preparation for Surgery" (Cruel World's title, not mine) wherein the victim is a prisoner of an oppressive government and is sent to a research university lab for human experiments before being choked to "death" so that her organs can be harvested for sale on the black market. My twist on the popular urban myth about vivisection for kidneys. Why just take the kidney when you can have the whole smorgasbord of transplantable organs from a healthy young female? And... roll tape!
The actual introduction that I wrote was from another custom I'd written, using the attached title cards. The earlier movie is called "A Very Strange Dream" because of the twist at the end, starring Alina as Dr. Squalus and Anna as her victim. I liked that intro so much that I took it in another direction with White Rose as Dr. Squalus and Victoria as the victim, which what that set is from, in "Preparation For Surgery". As I write this, Cruel World Studios is making a sequel with White Rose returning as Dr. Squalus and Anastasia (the star of "Crucifixion 61") as the victim.
Even tho none of these use the traditional X-frame, I like that position so much that I convinced Alex of Cruel World to do something similar with his existing equipment and a spreader bar. I liked the effect because I can incorporate suspension as the climactic end to the film, something not really possible with the St. Andrew's Cross.
