Go to CruxDreams.com
did her morning necessities
Always sets one up for a good day!
she was unaware of two men watching and snapping pictures from an unmarked car parked across the street
That phrase alone is filled with so much erotic potential
But, it was worth it getting to know Mr. Hodges better
You mean Hodges took hr out, got her pissed, and DIDN't screw her ...

Trixie is just sooooo adorable ... loved the read PrPr!

18. Deputy Director’s Office, CNB Headquarters, 11:35 AM

DD Keefer Williams watched Lieutenant Ho Ming, the head of the CNB surveillance wing, enter and sit, stiff and upright, on the desk chair.
“Report, please,” he asked the man.
"Yes, Deputy. As you requested, we have put a patrol on Mr. Hodges's new secretary, Ms. -" he paused and consulted his notes, "Beatrice Thomson. It seems that all call her Trixie. We have also instigated a background check on her with an eye to any 'embarrassing' information."
“Very good. Have you found anything yet?”
"Nothing useful yet. Singapore is her first assignment with the U.S. State Department. She was only hired a couple of months ago. We learned that she comes from a small rural town in the state of -" again, he looked at his notes. Ming was an exact person and never uttered a word of which he wasn't entirely sure. "Alabama. Unfortunately, our sources for such a place are non-existent, and there is hardly even an acknowledgment of its existence on the Internet."
"Understandable. Keep looking, please. What about our surveillance?"
"Our crew caught up with her arriving home in a taxi about 9:30 PM last evening. They believed she had been drinking. Unfortunately, they began the coverage too late to know where she had been or with who. She went in and was next seen this morning going for a run."
"Running? In Singapore - the heat and humidity? No American does that! Did she meet someone?"
“My men swear she didn’t. Remember that in Alabama in the USA in the summer is as hot and moist as Singapore.”
“Perhaps. Anything else?”
"No, She's stayed in the rest of the morning."
"Keep watching. Assign a backup unit. I want every move watched. Have we got any remote surveillance?”
“We are, at this moment, installing a high definition telescopic video camera on an adjacent building of flats. It will give us a close-up view of Ms. Thomson's patio, unobstructed by the privacy railings."
“Fine. How are we coming with the phone tap?”
"As you know, we are forbidden by the Foreign Office to conduct electronic surveillance on members of foreign delegations."
"Yes. Only because the Foreign Office wants to use their people to do it."
"Fortunately, Ms. Thomson has not yet been accredited as a member of the U.S. Delegation. She is on trial service or probation. Therefore we are free to tap her phone. We will have it in place later today."
"Excellent. While we are working to contain Amanda Jones's accusations, we don't want any more trouble from this lawyer. She doesn't sound like an undercover agent, but leverage on her might prove to be leverage on Hodges. Keep up the good work, Lieutenant."
"Yes, Sir." "Ho stood and saluted. He turned on his heel and exited the office.

Keefer sat, tapping his fingers on his desk and studying intently the sharp color surveillance photos of Ms. Thomson. He idly wondered what the video camera of her patio would reveal.
With that thought in his mind, the Deputy Director stood up and went to check in on his “charge,” Amanda Jones.

"Alabama. Unfortunately, our sources for such a place are non-existent, and there is hardly even an acknowledgment of its existence on the Internet."
Only slightly better known than Arkansas, and that’s largely due to the writings of a little known but prolific American writer of trash classic tales, known as @Praefectus Praetorio.

Bloody hell, what an operation! They're not going to have to look hard to dig up a questionable past for young Trix ... I so hope it doesn't count(s) against her ...

Possibly a camera surreptitiously installed in her bedroom, maybe her bathroom too, might speed up matters ...

a foreboding chapter ...

19. [Redacted] Apartments, Singapore, Saturday, 3:30 PM

Trixie was reading another book that she’d borrowed from the law library, Court Operations in Singapore. She was quite proud of having finished her assignment from Jeffrey just before he had called her in yesterday. She would have her organized notes on his desk Monday morning before he arrived. Now she wanted to get a jump on more of the law in this strange Island Republic.
The afternoon was warm, and she sipped her sweet tea as she caught a tan on her patio in her tiny red string bikini. Fortunately, her porch had a privacy railing.
The heat and the remnants of her hangover were making the girl almost nod off, and she had to fight to keep her eyes open. She jerked up suddenly as she heard her phone ring. Who could be calling her? She knew hardly anyone in Singapore. Rushing inside, she grabbed the phone.
“Trixie Thomson?”
“Trixie! “Hello, it”s me, Jeff Hodges. How are you doing?”
"Very well, Mr. Hodges," she replied and then wanted to kick herself for not saying Jeffrey as he had asked. "How are you?"
"Not bad. My meeting with Ms. Moore this morning went far better than I had expected. She took the news well. Barbara is a courageous person."
"I'm so glad to hear that, Jeffrey," this time, she got the name right. "I was worried about it."
“That is so sweet of you to do, Trixie. Caring about someone you’ve never met is admirable.”
“I was more concerned about how it was affecting you, Jeffrey.”
“That also is sweet. Hey, do you have plans for tonight? Would you like to grab a drink and a little supper?”
"Well, I guess so. I don't want to monopolize your time. Do you want to come all the way downtown?" Trixie could punch herself now. Why discourage him from taking her out to dinner? It sounded like a dream come true. It would all be innocent.
"No problem. With all I've got on my plate, I've taken a room for tonight and tomorrow at the Sands Hotel Tower. It is near downtown and not far from your place. I've told my wife, Kathy, and she understands the pressure I've been under. We could eat at their roof-top restaurant, CÉ LA VI. I’ve never been there, but it has excellent reviews.”
Trixie's concerns were relieved as she heard that Hodges' wife approved. "A drink and something to eat would be very nice," replied Trixie. In her mind, it sounded like a date at the Palace for Cinderella with Prince Charming. As innocent and magical as a Disney film.

“Great. I’ll send an Embassy car for you at seven.”

The listening CNB agent hit pause on the recorder. It was time to send the phone recording as well as the camera's to Lieutenant Ho at headquarters. He had been told that the Deputy Director took a particular interest in the case.

I have it on good authority that it cannot be considered "sweet tea" until the straw can stand up straight in the glass without budging... ;)

"I thought we were going to leave that to the Turkish authorities, Trixie."

20. CÉ LA VI, Sands Hotel Tower3, Singapore, 7:35 PM

The moment Trixie emerged from the elevator into CÉ LA VI, she was completely blown away. The trendy and stylish restaurant, perched on the top floor of the luxury Sands Hotel was something that she had never dreamed existed – let alone a place where she would dine. Wraparound windows provided a stunning, panoramic view of the spectacular downtown Singapore skyline.

A handsome and elegantly dressed host greeted the girl and, on hearing her name, escorted her like royalty to Jeffrey's window-side table. The attractive lawyer stood and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek before holding her chair for her. When he asked for her cocktail preference, Trixie responded with the only "elegant" one she knew, an Alabama Slammer. Unfortunately, that was unknown in Singapore. The tall and powerfully built bartender hurried to the table and apologized profusely for not being familiar with such a drink. If Trixie could tell him the ingredients, he would be glad to try to mix them. The girl hadn't the slightest idea what was in it. Jeffrey suggested that a Sloe Gin Fizz might be close, and Trixie immediately agreed and ordered one. The bartender said that the first one would be on the house as a token of his regret.
When the SGF came, Jeffrey held out his G&T and clinked glasses to toast an enjoyable evening. Trixie giggled and took a good-sized drink of her cocktail. She found it quite tasty without noticing the high alcohol content. Nervously, she took another gulp. To the girl from Branchwater, it was all like an impossible dream.
Jeffrey soon ordered another round of drinks and, this time, toasted the spectacular view surrounding them. The vista open from the SkyPark Observation deck atop the 56th floor of Marina Bay Sands Hotel was stunning and almost as intoxicating as the drinks. CÉ LA VI deserved its reputation as one of the most romantic places in Singapore. The experience has swept Trixie off her feet.

Jeffrey was ever bit as entranced with this beautiful young woman sitting across the table. Trixie, dressed in a tight, off-the-shoulder, lime-green dress, her hair glowing like gold in the soft mood lighting and her fair chest, dotted with cute freckles, made a colorful and sexy sight.
For the next two hours, as they drank cocktails and munched appetizers, the impressionable young girl had listened with rapt attention as Jeffrey recounted, with not a small amount of embellishment, his meeting with the Changi Commandant. He bragged how he now had the Major under his thumb. Hodges described how he would be meeting with the Ambassador himself at the exclusive Singapore Cricket Club. Trixie had no idea what cricket was, but it sounded most exotic and impressive. Jeffrey wove a remarkable scene of the two planning their grand strategy to get Miss Moore released. Trixie hadn't known that Hodges was so influential with the Ambassador.

It was all a heady experience for the young secretary. The expensive bar with the spectacular view and the attention of the incredibly handsome and erudite attorney were beyond anything that twenty-two-year-old Trixie Thompson from Branchwater, Alabama, had ever encountered. Growing up in the very unsavory environment of the Bubba Jim Mobile Home Resort, the girl had always hoped to escape the grinding poverty and despair of her home. But this luxury was beyond her wildest dreams.
Jeffrey Hodges was so different from any man she had ever known. Intellectual, suave, and sophisticated, he had refined manners and showed his humble secretary great respect. He was a real gentleman, she thought.
As the sky darkened and the city's lights below came up, the atmosphere became more romantic and intimate. The multiple rounds of drink loosened both parties, the conversation became more personal, and the laughter flowed freely. When Jeffrey wanted to emphasize a point, he would gently touch her knee or forearm, sending hot sparks through her body.
To the simple girl, it was all too much, too intoxicating. She felt her temperature rise, and a flush appeared on her cheeks to compliment her fair skin. Trixie was rapidly losing control of her body and her emotions.

The opulent and romantic setting of the restaurant as the night skyline of Singapore came alight below them would quickly have intoxicated anyone. Add to that the constantly refilled Sloe Gin Fizzes and the heady talk of power politics in Singapore, and Trixie was left without any resistance to this handsome, caring, and charming man. Trixie was captivated by this gorgeous hunk of a man who seemed to find her interesting and worth his time to help and encourage. His willingness to spend his Saturday evening welcoming her to Singapore and making her feel comfortable was testimony to his outstanding character.
To Jeffrey, Trixie was the perfect ending for a perfect day. Everything seemed to be going right for him. Sitting with a gorgeous redhead, looking out of the city of Singapore, lit at night with its brightness and color, he felt on top of the world, figuratively and literally. Nothing was impossible. Anything could be his.
They both leaned in, closer and closer, and the talk softened to whispers of intimacy. Then, Jeffrey reached out and ran his fingers lightly over her fair, blushed cheek. Hodges leaned forward, and their lips touched softly in a gentle kiss. Trixie felt like electricity surged through her body, accompanied by unmistakable dampness between her legs. She stared at the beautiful man, thought of his soft lips, and desperately wanted more!

Jeffrey also stared for a moment into Trixie's deep hazel eyes and stroked her soft, flame-red hair. Then he leaned forward and kissed her again, hungrily. He parted his lips, and his tongue slipped between her lips. Trixie's tongue eagerly responded in kind.
When they parted, both were breathing more heavily. Jeffrey whispered. “I have a room here for tonight. Would you like to share a nightcap back there?”
Trixie was too aroused to answer and just nodded yes.
Jeffrey paid the bill and helped the redhead, who was unsteady from the multiple SGFs, to her feet. As they walked to the elevators, Jeffrey slipped his hand around her tight little ass and gave it a most ungentlemanly pinch. Trixie made a little cry and turned to him and smiled.

At that moment, as several times previously that evening, two men at a nearby table snapped cell phone pictures. The men then rose and exited the bar just behind the couple and joined them in the elevator.

Combining Southern Comfort, amaretto, sloe gin and orange juice, the Alabama Slammer cocktail is an old favorite that packs a boozy punch.

To Jeffrey, Trixie was the perfect ending for a perfect day.
And that one sentence sums up the kind of man Jeffrey Hodges Esq is ...
He was a real gentleman, she thought.
And that one sentence sums up the kind of girl Trixie is ...
Jeffrey whispered. “I have a room here for tonight. Would you like to share a nightcap back there?”
Don't forget to call the heavily pregnant wife you douchebag, wish her goodnight, tell her you love her blah, blah, blah ...

The narrative describing the Restaurant was stunning, even I was seduced and so poor old Trailer Trash Trix never stood a chance! Loved it.

"A Perfect End to a Perfect Day ..."
So ends Part III - Getting to Know Mr. Hodges, six episodes of buildup toward Part IV Knowing Jeffrey More Intimately:

21. Room #[Redacted] 53
rd Floor, Sands Hotel Tower3, Singapore, 10:12 PM

Hodges and Thomson emerged from the elevator on the 53rd floor, a bit unsteady and holding onto each other. Jeffrey gently steered the shapely redhead left toward his room. The two plainclothes men followed at a respectful distance, noting and recording the room number and the time. Once the couple was inside the room, one man stuck a tiny button camera on the opposite baseboard. The other checked his cellphone and then nodded. Both, smiling, rode the elevator down to the lobby to wait for their relief.

As she entered Jeffrey's hotel suite, Trixie was highly impressed. The room was substantially larger than her whole apartment – she meant flat. It was luxuriously appointed and decorated, with an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on that breathtaking Singapore night skyline.
Leading her in by the hand, Jeffrey executed a smooth turn and pulled Trixie into his body, planting his mouth on her ruby lips. This time, their tongues did not hesitate to tease the other, playing an erotic game of hide and seek.
After a minute, Hodges came up for air and said in a gravelly whisper. “How about that nightcap now? Is Cognac good for you?”
Trixie gave an enthusiastic nod, remembering the brandy she’d shared with Dr. Sullivan the first time they’d made love. “VS?” she asked, remembering the Counselor's bottle.
“Oh, I expect we can do a bit better than that,” said Jeffrey smiling. He turned toward the well-stocked servibar.

The memory of her first encounter with Beatrice in Evergreen made Trixie think back to when she'd had sex. On all her dates in Branchwater, she couldn't say she'd ever enjoyed or been aroused by the wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am approach of those boys. None had ever made any effort at foreplay or trying to help Trixie enjoy the experience. The closest she'd come to arousal was when Cletus had spanked her butt red before mounting her from behind. Although not very pleasurable, her cunt had at least dampened.
So much for the men she'd known. Trixie realized that she had never looked at a man with sexual desire until she'd met Jeffrey. Not that she didn't like the concept of sex with a man. It was just that her mother's 'boyfriends' had disgusted her even as a child. And the boys her age in her hometown were gross and crude.

Trixie had been so devoted to her studies that she had consciously avoided even the handsome ones at SATI and FSI.
In comparison, her times with Dr. Sullivan and her female friends at FSI had been magical, with pleasure freely given and received.
But Jeffrey's stunning looks, suave manners, and flattering attention to Trixie and her thoughts had been more than the girl could resist. A flush spread over her chest and neck as she anticipated making love to this beautiful man. She felt a flow of moisture between her legs.

"Ah! I thought so!" said Jeffrey triumphantly as he stood up from the refrigerator holding a bottle of dark liquid. "Courvoisier XO - this will be a treat!" Grabbing two mini-snifters, he returned to Trixie, still standing just inside the door, awed by everything.

Hodges managed to give each glass a good pour while balancing them in his hands along with the bottle. He set the bottle down and handed one glass to his secretary.

“To your success in Singapore with the State Department. May all your dreams come true!” They clicked glasses and sipped the precious liquor.

Such a gentleman, Courvoisier XO? Mmmm, nice choice, so by “nightcap” he really meant a drink? I thought he meant sex? And why waste such fine brandy on an uneducated, tipsy palate?

I thought there was going to be mad Secretary sex coming up? Oh well, I’ll patiently await further developments… I am keen to find out what Hodges thinks of her hard work on the Singapore penal code she has finished cliff noting for him. Maybe hope to find out in the next chapter? Or does that count as reading ahead?

Pretty decent character development of Trixie. I have started the Singapore series, did you realise part 2 is like 1053 pages worth? So I’m definitely not fully cognizant of the side events fully yet! Don’t worry, I’ll get there. Thanks for another engaging installment, I’m rather deeply engaged by now…

Pity about the sex, nevermind, I’m sure some erotica will eventually return! I do seem to vaguely recall something about Turkey coming up, but seems to have got lost in the event horizon just now!
:roflmao: :span1:

I do get carried away. I personally like part 2 of Singapore best. The legal wrangling leading up to the trial was great fun to write. And Barb gets to suffer nicely while poor Jeffrey struggles to save her.
