I have done quite a few crux works offsite. A few drawn works, and a few koikatsu works. I will share them here with megafile links attached for full galleries.

I really like the hand drawn one, do they take as much work as the 3D stuff or is it easier? I've never really done either so I'm curious.

I say it's the opposite for me but it is always personal preference. 3d is like a sandbox. As a metaphorical example, it's probably easier but more time consuming to just build a sand castle out of a bucket with sand and water than it is to draw a sandcastle on paper. Hand drawn stuff can either take as much time as the 3d stuff or it can take less. 3d is all about fine tuning, which is tedious but not difficult. Drawing takes a lot more skill and that along with the amount of detail in art is what determines how long it takes to finish a drawing.

Personally, I am sticking to the 3d renders from Koi while I can.

That Fireren set is my favorite koikatsu set out of all your works, from the lighting to the angels and shots you've done a amazong job on them.

I have completed my own crux story in time for Easter. It has been a long time since I last finished my previous completed work, the Mari crux story based on Jose Racero's deviantart drawings. Now I finally got around to finishing a full crucifixion procession at the scene of the execution. The entire 89 page work can be found on mega as always: https://mega.nz/folder/6u5FHBjL#yFNs-zaKtQxohuJgPqQ-Pw

Details:

Phoebe's hillside crucifixion is complete 99 image set, depicting the crucifixion of a young woman out on a grassy hillside next to two other victims. The renders use all my up to date knowledge of Koikatsu's studio to allow the images to look as crisp and clean as possible, along with having new props and outfits to work with.

Phoebe is a young woman who was unfortunate enough to be sentenced to death by crucifixion. For even if she was innocent of any crimes, Rome's trying times have led to extremes in its punishment of non-romans. Now carrying a patibulum tied down to her wrists, Phoebe approaches a grassy hillside surrounded with unused cross stipes, with exception of two erected crosses.

A boy hangs from the closest cross, covered in bloodied whip marks and nailed at his wrists and at the side of his ankles. His name was Michael and his crimes were charges of theft, assault, and harassment of romans, particularly girls his age. The roman courts did not take kindly to his actions and dismissed him for crucifixion without even so much as a trial. Phoebe remembered that Michael's forced nude and bloodied march through the streets to his crucifixion site. Now he hung sheepishly from his cross.

Beyond him, an older woman was crucified by her wrists and ankles locked together over one another. Her name was Aurela, a heftier woman that would've been considered beautiful if not for her degraded state. Aurela had been crucified simply for following beliefs that romans did not adhere to. She was spared the whip when taken out for her crucifixion. She now hung tiredly on her cross, her eyes locking onto Phoebe as she approached.

Phoebe was sentenced to crucifixion for speaking out on the cruelty of Rome, and further trials after her arrest deemed her a seditionist. She was given a brief whipping across her back and a crown of thorns to mock her for her stance against Rome. Led out in a simple white gown, she was walked to the execution site where she could now plainly see the stipe to her cross, laying horizontally on the ground between Micheal and Aurela's crosses.

Phoebe would be stripped naked and led to her cross. 4 nails were used for her crucifixion, nailed at her wrists and through the front of each of her feet. She cast glances at Michael and Aurela, both of whom would watch the procession in silence, moving occasionally to get air. Once nailed, 4 soldiers were needed to raise and secure her cross into place. There Phoebe would hang under the midday sun until death would eventually take her.

If anyone is interested in doing a story write up of Phoebe's crucifixion, feel free to do so and pin me to read it.

You did a amazing job on those renders, all the stuff you have learned from making renders really shows, and the stuff you wrote for the story is cool as well. Keep up the good work, and I hope you are well.
