There was something like crux in the first season



Two more seasons have already planned, considering that the creators aren't afraid of depicting violence and the show is related with christian/pagan wars, I'd give big chances to watch a gruesome execution scene. If I could choose the character to be subjected in that kind of punishment it would be for sure "Queen Emma".
