Waiting for Judicial Corporal Punishment

I can’t believe it. What are they thinking. They obviously are not. First it’s the reversal of Roe vs Wade. Then the “ Not so Supreme Court” decides that they don’t care about the world climate. No need to regulate dangerous emissions, they will only be dangerous for future generations. The justices will be dead by that time anyway. No need to worry about our grandkids or their children. That’s way too far in the future to worry about!
Janet and I decided that we would protest and picket outside the Supreme Court. Little did we know that the “right to protest” was overturned by the court that very day. Although ours was a peaceful protest, we were arrested. Only women were arrested.
We were found guilty the very same day that the Supreme Court reinstituted corporal punishment. Janet and I would be the first we wait restrained in our cells until morning, then 50 lashes each, naked at the whipping post. We tried to get out attorneys to appeal, but the Supreme Court had already
Overturned the appeal process!
I have two ongoing stories that I have recently added new chapters:
“Bridewell, My Penance,My Pain” and
“Here Cums the Bride”
