For anyone interested and owns an Android tablet or phone you can go to the Playstore and download free apps that will do the job. I use ReadEra by Prestigio which will read anything.

FBReader is my choice for reading all kinds of formats, it's free and even has a text-to-speech plugin that you can use (combined with Ivona Voice this is really very good)
