One of my fetishes is white women in the hands of Indian tribes. I recently added to my collection of images some old paintings that I found moving.
2 first.
If you want to add, please, only antique paintings or drawings

Women who were not immediately slaughtered on the spot were taken to the camps. If they were not tortured, they were raped. If they were ever released, they never confessed to the rapes.

Interesting pictures, Gerembeau. They lead us to wonder, who are these women - and what are their stories...?

1. 'The Hawk takes a Wife', painted by Stan Davies (date unknown, contemporary artist).

2. 'The Captive' by artist, Jaun Manuel Blanes (1880) - as you have already credited.

3. 'The Murder of Jane McCrea, July 27, 1777', a painting by Don Troiani (2018).

4. 'The Siege of Fort Caswell', painted by Harold von Schmidt (1937).

5. Probably an illustration for 'The Last of the Mohicans', by author James Fenimore Cooper.
I cannot identify the artist. Google suggests Tom Lovell or Newell Convers Wyeth, although the picture may have been painted by someone else?

6. 'Olive Oatman' - a photograph by Benjamin F. Powelson (1863).
