Hornet1ba - My 3d Renderings

Go to CruxDreams.com
You haven't ever done a more Christ-styled cross, have you? I'm assuming that's intentional.

I just looked at my 3d model of cross (5 of them) and
they are all tau cross, one of the possible reason is that its easier to do them that way
using the simplistic 3d modeling capability included in Daz Studio ,that's what i used in my early attempt to build my crucifixion scenes.

The slow motion is to try to hide the animation mistake:)
I did try to use the faster rendering engine with the Genesis 3 character but the results are so superior with Iray that its hard to go back.

Also i usually don't advertise their product but Daz got the ¨wet body Iray¨ for Genesis 3 that gave this result without too much effort on my part (its getting very hot under that sun that the poor girl is sweating all the water in her body can, someone gave her some something to drink for god sake...)

Glorious Hornet. Marvellous work.
If I had to pick one it would be Iray11, but all of these ... What can I sy?
And I just saw the animation too!

A blond being nailed to a cross...

Also i recently learned how to use a Daz Studio option to get rid of the broken shoulders and joint when you pose the Victoria 4 characters in certain way, actually its an old option usually used to make clothes fit your characters, probably old news to others 3d artists!

You just add a “smoothing modifier” to the V4 mesh as described here:http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/9823/

I've said it before, Hornet, but I'm truly glad that there are people like you prepared to get your heads around these technicalities for the benefit of muggles like me! :)

The blonde is exquisite! :)
You say that about all the blonde girls lying around on crosses.;)

These are wonderful images, Hornet. And the brunette is nice too.:devil:

Thankfully i do love those technicalities:)
I'm kind of a geek!
Thank god its now cool to be one...
When i grew up it was not:-(

Would that be the same as "smooth polygons" in Poser?
It happens to me too sometimes but usually it's the result of conflicting morphs.

I cannot say Repertor ,i did try Poser some time ago but i'm back to Daz Studio as i started with it and i'm more confortable
using it.

There is also an geometry option called :"transform to SubD" that increased the number of subdivision of a 3d object that seems to be closer to the "smooth polygons" in Poser according the a Google search ,that gave me no Poser equivalent to the Daz "mesh smoothing" or "add smoothing modifier".

The .gif experiment continue:cool:
Those animation date back to 2013.
I did upload some of them back then.
but they are gone now:(
Hello hornet1ba,

Thank you for posting these new (?) animes of Sabina's crucifixion. I hoped to combine them into one gif and then convert it to mp4. This I would post here with ackowledgement of your sourcing the clips. I am running OSX 10.11.5 on an iMac.

Do you have these great files in mp4 format, please?

Sincerely, ranger1.

Those .gif were from an animation of Serena

Not Sabina done by Jedak a long time ago ,i did upload the Jedak Sabina animation in another post as i had a copy on my harddrive at the time (sorry cannot locate them anymore:-(

But i did merged the .gif in a .mp4 movie just 2 or 3 post below the .gif post.

"Smooth polygons" is something in the Firefly rendering engine in Poser that can smooth sharp edges at render time, not the same thing as subdivision, which actually refines the mesh within some specific area so it's more finely divided. You CAN use that for smoothing, but it's also good for adding more detail. I think subdivision is a pretty common feature in 3D programs now, I know I've got it in Zbrush.

She did went afterward to her fate:devil:
I did upload a series around 2013 but its gone now!
Probably in the site crash:-(
I will look in my archive if i can restore it.
